This location was terrific for our family with friends vacation on Lake Huron. The sunsets were celebrated after a day in the Lake and sun. The windowed dining area allowed us to watch the Lake activity during meals and easily was transformed to our rather competitive games for the evening. Life was easy with the quality appliances and grilling enjoyment. An excellent experience.
Very clean, comfortable property with many amenities. Great location right on the beach. Owners were very available and maintained the property very well.
The cottage was perfect for me, my daughter, and 2 grandchildren, ages 10 and 6.The view of the lake was spectacular. The beach was sandy and my grandkids had a blast playing in the lake. The cottage is very well maintained. We enjoyed the activities both Caseville and Port Austin had to offer.
We’ve been returning guests for several years and always enjoy this lakeside property. It’s clean, comfy and has all the amenities you need for a weekly stay, with a beautiful beach and peaceful surroundings. Caseville and its neighbor city, Port Austin, have plenty of restaurants, shopping, hiking, kayaking, the Dark Sky Preserve, beaches, etc, to keep you happy. Always recommend this place.
We had a really great time at this property. It was nicely set up for guests, and Mike was conscientious and kind. We will look to stay here again if possible!
Great location, exceptionally clean, and very well stocked. We had an amazing time and enjoyed our week here for Cheeseburger fest. Will definitely come back.

Great cabin
The cabin was clean and comfortable. Mike was very accommodating.
Beautiful sunsets with an awesome beachfront view. Visits to Caseville and Port Austin are always fun. Unfortunately the week we picked was very windy and not so warm but high winds bring treasures from the lake! Came home with pockets full of Petosky stones and washed glass. So fun! We enjoyed the stay! One thing I would point out is to be prepared for the well water smell if you’re not familiar with that. We brought bottled water for coffee.

Monica,
Happy to know you enjoyed your stay.
We have noticed a hot water smell as of late as well. Our plumber has suggested we remove the anode in the water heater to resolve this. Apparently it's more of a water heater issue than the water itself. Thanks for the heads-up.
This is the second year we have stayed at this property, it's a lovely location in a quiet neighborhood right on a beautiful stretch of beach on a nice bay. The house is clean and well-maintained with lots of amenities and nice touches that made if feel very homey. The location is close to Caseville, so it's convenient for activities and the beach is nice and shallow for a ways out so swimming or kayaking from the beach are both practical. There's lots of room in the cottage common areas for a family to gather and there's room for activities on rainy days. The rules and guidelines are very clear and very reasonable.
Our family of four had a lovely week on the water--fun in the water and sand, great walks toward Sleeper State Park, etc. We particularly appreciated the host's responsiveness. When a strong storm knocked out power in Caseville one evening, Mike was able to supply a generator the following morning (and again when the power subsequently went out due to residual damage). We would stay here again due to the ease of beach access and cleanliness of the house!
We’ve been renting this space for a handful of years now and it’s always a fabulous stay. This beachfront property is a hidden gem located on beautiful Lake Huron. It’s ideally located in a lovely neighborhood and close to downtown Caseville or neighboring Port Austin. The property is well maintained with everything you need from kitchenware to towels to air conditioning. The hosts even provide several extras (fan, grill, soap, paper towel, growler to go fill at local brewery, two fridges, washer and dryer, beach chairs, fire pit, etc.) The place is also very clean and the views are stunning. 5 stars!
For starters, the fact that this was our fourth year in a row here should make it apparent that we are happy to vacation here. The place is clean with an amazing view that has anything that you could need. If it's a pleasant, breezy day, open the windows and enjoy the sounds of the waves. It gets hot out, close the windows and kick on the AC, but you still have the view. Clean, modern bathroom, great kitchen and grille. The beach, even though there's neighbors, feels secluded and relaxing. Amazing sunsets and a nice fire pit to cozy up to after the sunsets. The owners are very quick to respond and smooth out any bumps, but those are rare. I could go on and on....Great place to recharge....

Nice house and beautiful location
Our stay was fantastic! The house was perfect for the 4 of us. We launched our kayaks from the beach in front of the house. It's a very relaxing setting, with a large shade tree in the backyard with an amazing view of the bay. We were minutes from the golf course (mini golf, too) as well as grocery and liquor stores. We swam right out front, and caught many smallmouth bass on the point from the kayaks. We could see the fireworks across the bay on the 4th of July. We stayed for a week and cooked all of our meals in the kitchen or on the grill, the kitchen was equipped with everything I needed. My 2 grumpy teenagers were also impressed with the location. Mike was great to deal with and answered all my questions quickly. I would definitely recommend checking out Caseville!

The house was a nice little place for a girls weekend with friends. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Most things were as described in the listing. There are a few small things that I assumed would be there that weren't, which may have been my fault for making assumptions, but they impacted my stay (didn't make-or-break it, but I would have liked to have this information). The property is on a lakefront, not a beach. For some reason in my mind I had thought it would have sand. There was also no firepit/bowl, and in my mind i had visualized a campfire in the evenings, but that wasn't an option. Lastly, there wasn't toilet paper or trash bags. Most places I have stayed have provided these things, so I assumed they would be there. Had I known, I would have brought some from home rather than having to make a trip to the store.
Those are not really complaints, and didn't impact my stay much, but I wanted to make mention of them for future guests - might want to bring your own.
Otherwise, the neighborhood was lovely, the city was lovely (we rented a pontoon from Portside Pontoon rentals and enjoyed cruising around the bay; visited the farmers market and the local restaurants, etc.), the beds and couches were very comfortable, and the screen porch was great for watching the waves.

Thanks for the great review. Water levels on the Great Lakes are near record high. The cottage normally has beach, as do the surrounding properties. This year however water levels have taken that away, for now. So far as incidentals we provide initial supplies but do not stock the items. Something for us to reconsider though. Happy to know you enjoyed your stay.
This was a great home tucked away on a quiet street. Home comes with everything that you need and Caseville isn't too far away so you can grab anything that you may have forgotten at home. The owner lives in town and was very responsive to any requests that we had. We'd definitely stay here again in the future. Thanks for everything Mike!
Had an amazing weekend with the family at this property in Caseville. Kids didn't want to leave. Very happy with the cleanliness, amenties, and veiw of the water. The owner even left us some coupons for the local brewery and distillery which was a treat. This place had everything you needed to make the trip as if you never left home. Will definitely be back!
