We managed to stay about 30 minutes - this was after it took 30 minutes for them to finally give us a key code that worked. This is obviously a student let - 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and NO lounge!!Towels on the bed that I would use for rags - heaven only knows what the sheets were like. The downstairs bed was a 4'6" mattress on a 5' frame. The kitchen was filthy - sticky countertops, a stove I wouldn't cook on or in. The back wall of the frig was growing a new glacier! The TV - sticky fingerprints and all - was in one of the upstairs bedrooms. To use it you had to move a clothes rack and set on the end of a twin bed.The front door had a broken letter flap and there was mail on the floor when we finally got in. I guess it needed to go on the pile of correspondence that is in one of the kitchen cabinets.I spoke to a representative - he said "you saw the photos - no refund!" and hung up on me. Needless to say they had a REALLY good photographer because it was nothing like the pictures they posted on your site.We left - booked into a hotel for two nights - and found a better/cheaper accommodation. i have reached out to my credit card company to request a chargeback on my account. These are scam artists at their best! Plus I needed a shower when we got to the hotel to clean off the stench of that place.

Absolutely terrible property and awful experience. Arrived to a dirty and unkempt house. Strong smell of gas in the kitchen. Ancient boiler with a sticker on it saying service due in 2004! Radiators on full blast and could not be turned off - no thermostatic valves. Mould on the ceiling and wall in one bedroom. Window fixings falling apart. Showers in the bathrooms were filthy. Towels and bed linen old and in poor condition. None of it ironed. Water from the kitchen tap only trickled out - started to fill a kettle and gave up. Walls dirty and in desperate need of cleaning and re-painting. A lamp fitting in the garden was hanging by its wires! The house is a safety hazard and there was no way that we could possibly stay there, particularly having a small child in our party. It is uninhabitable and there is no way anyone would choose to stay there if they saw it first. We had to try and find somewhere else to stay, with no notice. Fortunately we managed to find a vastly superior property at a much lower price than we were charged for this one. We requested a refund and were at first told that our concerns were important and that they would be investigated. Any company worth its salt would refund without hesitation. However, we’ve not heard anything for a week now and they appear to be ignoring our emails. We are therefore taking further action. Strongly advise people to keep away from this house and any company involved in letting it out. Absolute disgrace.
