Little piece of paradise

We had a fantastic stay in Hout Bay. The property is stunning, with all the facilities we could need and extremely clean. Gladys, the housekeeper, was excellent throughout our stay and extremely helpful. In the run up to our booking, Martin was really prompt in answering questions and arranged for everything we needed for our small children. Couldn’t recommend this property more!

If I could give it 6 Stars I would. We are seasoned international travelers and this is the best home we have stayed in. Impeccable home, lovely pool, quiet arboreal beautiful setting with mountain views. Easily accommodates 4 adults with a bedroom to spare. Onsite housekeeper is excellent. The host has equipped the house with everything you need. Easy reach to explore everything the Cape has to offer. 10 minutes to Chef's Warehouse restaurant in Constantia - don't miss! Chapman's Peak drive is 5 minutes away. Llandudno beach is 15 minutes away. We will definitely stay here again. Host is very communicative with check in and check out procedures running without a hitch. Already looking forward to our next trip to Cape Town. - Ian & Jeretta (Seattle USA), Toby & Di (UK)

Traumhaft für eine Familie / wonderfull for a familiy

Wir sind als Großeltern mit unserem Sohn und seiner jungen Familie in Haus von Martin Gast gewesen. Das Haus liegt in einer sichereren Anlage mit Zufahrtskontrolle. Es hat einen wunderschönen großen Garten und einen ausreichenden Pool. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Küchenausstattung, Handtücher etc. war mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Gladys als Haushälterin, wohnt in einer kleinen Einliegerwohnung. Sie ist sehr charmant und hilfsbereit bei allen Arbeiten im Haus wie Waschen, Bügeln, Reinigen und sogar Kochen. Sie hat uns ein Chicken Curry vom feinsten gemacht. Die Bezahlung von Gladys, die direkt erfolgt, ist absolut faire. Sie ist zurückhaltend, hilft aber gerne auf Wunsch. Super geeignet für eine Familie, denn ein abgeschlossener Kinderspielplatz ist direkt neben an.Vielen Dank Gladys, Alicia und Martin für diese schöne Zeit.We were guests at Martin's house as grandparents with our son and his young family. The house is located in a secure complex with access control. It has a beautiful large garden and a large pool. The house is very tastefully furnished. Kitchen equipment, towels etc. were more than sufficient. Gladys, the housekeeper, lives in a small granny apartment. She is very charming and helpful with all chores in the house such as washing, ironing, cleaning and even cooking. She made us the finest chicken curry. The payment from Gladys, which is direct, is absolutely fair. She is reserved but happy to help if requested. Super
