Experience what “Lake Life” means in the truest fashion by staying in a real log home right on Beaver Lake. I am not a Property Manager. I own this gorgeous property so you can rest assure that the utmost attention is paid to cleanliness, details, and customer service. I will be like your personal Concierge. Nestled in the trees, this 3-level, 2 bedroom + 2-bed loft, PLUS a large, open downstairs that boasts a hideaway Queen-size "Murphy bed" will give you the room you need – and want – to best enjoy a treasured family vacation no matter what time of the year you come. Fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible, the kitchen is fully stocked with all of the cookware, serve ware and dishes you would need to feed your crew. Make yourself a morning cup of coffee with the Keurig or regular coffee maker and go relax on the deck as Nature wakes up. Cook eggs and bacon on the Blacktop flat grill on deck or come inside and use the griddle or waffle maker if you like a sweet breakfast like me! All of the beds are super comfy with memory foam toppers and luxurious bedding. And if you're a pillow snob like me, you'll be thrilled with all of the great pillows you can choose from!

We know that you came here for the gorgeous Lake! The shoreline is very walkable down a few easy stone steps from the back porch where you can get into the water in our beautiful protected cove.. Or if you want to experience the Lake by water, consider renting a boat from one of the three marinas that rent boats (info is given to you in your Welcome Packet). You don't need beach towels - we have those for you! But don't forget to bring your fishing poles and try your luck with all of the catfish, trout, perch, or crappie. Or choose one of the local outfitters and schedule a Guided Fishing trip for you and your children and spend a full-day or a half-day in search of trout, walleye, bass or any of the other swimming species that call Beaver Lake home.

Ford's Creek Cove is a long, wide and deep cove, perfect for tubing or water skiing. I also have two KAYAKS you can use while staying at Cedar Rock if you're active and would like to explore the shoreline. Paddling down to the end makes for a great morning as the water is smooth with almost zero traffic (unless you count a few dragonflies). If you are like me, being on the water immediately will lower your stress level and increase your happiness exponentially! We'll just make those arrangements after acceptance of the rental request.

At night, you can be the S’more-cooking Master at the firepit then go inside and challenge your crew with a Ping Pong tournament on the ping pong table downstairs or grab your favorite board game and pull up to the game table. There are also 5 acres of beautiful wooded area to walk and explore. ***TIP: Don't forget to bring your binoculars and a camera to capture plenty of family pics in the beautiful outdoors as well as to capture the all of the memories you will create on your awesome Vacation at the Lake. I find nothing gives me more pleasure than having evidence of my vacations through my pictures and saying, "Remember when......?"

Please note that we have Arlo security cameras on the exterior of the house. Since the cabin is in a private, remote area, we want to make sure that we are aware if anyone is at the cabin that shouldn't be. (There are absolutely no cameras indoors.) By staying here, you understand that security is an important thing and will not try to disable the cameras.

Due to liability and safety reasons, no firearms target practice and/or shooting is allowed at Cedar Rock Chalet.
