The Senhora da Agonia festivities in Viana do Castelo are on the second weekend of August, the Feiras Novas in Ponte de Lima are on the second weekend of September, and the famous Rock festival in Paredes de Coura takes place in mid-August. For those who enjoy hiking in nature, there are several walking trails; Corno de Bico is a must-see, as it's a protected landscape where all the trails are marked.
