Sea to Sea is a charming Edwardian three storey house situated in a lovely, elevated position overlooking the coastal town of Hythe, which is just a 15-minute walk to the centre and the beach front. Full of original features, the house has been renovated and decorated to a very high standard with contemporary additions, gorgeous soft, muted interior design and a lovely sociable open plan kitchen and dining area with a central island. Another great feature is the two sitting rooms. One is a large, formal room on the ground floor with a large bay window and French doors leading into the dining room, and the other is on the first floor and has bifold doors leading out onto the garden. The house has three large bedrooms and two bathrooms, and more than comfortably sleeps six guests. The garden is a real feature of this house as it is accessed from the first floor and is on two levels accessed via stone steps. The courtyard is off the first floor sitting room and the upper area is a paved terrace with dining furniture and sun loungers.

Lovely accommodation overlooking the sea. Small but everything we needed for 2 nights. Plenty of outside space and quiet as not yet full season. Beach was busy with locals as it was a weekend. Only downside was lack of local amenities, no shop for supplies and only one place to eat within walking distance. Would stay again, thank you
This would be a beautiful property at any time of the year - as I can attest, visiting Hythe 4 to 5 times a year on average for 10 days each for work each trip. The location is lovely. The layout and condition are of the property are spectacular, and it's a true pleasure to take advantage of the chef's kitchen. My only regret in giving it an amazing review is it may be that much harder for my own self to get availability in the future.

Holiday house
There's a lot to like about this house. The location is good with easy access into Hythe. The house is a nice size, bedrooms are a good size and comfortable. For us personally we felt the living/kitchen area was let down because of there being no access to the garden, which is on the first floor. We were staying with our two little dogs and it was not ideal. We felt the living room would benefit from another small sofa in the window alcove, which other people have also commented on. Yes, there is seating in the first floor snug area which would be okay for order kids etc, but for adults on holiday you want to be sitting comfortably in a room together.
There are ample kitchen utensils etc, great cutlery but could do with more mugs.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here, we visited lots of places in Kent. We would definitely recommend this house but with reservations about the garden access, especially if staying with a dog.

Overall great but a few small points.
Lovely house, very roomy
Very well equipped kitchen
Great to have 2 tv rooms
Very good bathrooms and showers
not so good
Arrived to not a single sheet of toilet paper in the entire house
Bin in one of the bathrooms hadn't been emptied
With the exception of the downstairs shower room, there's a complete lack of hooks/pegs in all the rooms for towels/dressing gowns etc (also none of the bedroom doors actually close shut properly so if you have dogs/kids they can get into any room simply by pushing!)
Also none of the bedrooms had litter bins which is slightly annoying
Finally, be aware that 2 of the bedrooms are at the front of the house which is on a busy main road and traffic starts to build from about 7am. We got used to it after a couple of days but not good if you're a light sleeper (however if you're just there for the weekend it's not so bad)

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in sehr netter Nachbarschaft
Schönes Haus mit Charme. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche.
High Street und Pubs fußläufig erreichbar.
Schöner Spaziergang vom Haus aus möglich.
Parken problemlos.
Eine überdachte Sitzgelegenheit im Garten wäre schön.
