Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space with 2 bedrooms (one ensuite). Albert Cottage, built in the Victorian era, is located backing onto the River Itchen. Centrally positioned 5 minutes walk from St Denys train station, it is walking distance to Southampton city centre, St Mary’s sports stadium and the University of Southampton. This property is not on a through road, and there is always free parking on the road. It is very quiet place to stay - you can even fish from the garden. It has all modern conveniences, with great gastro pubs nearby. Bring a canoe and explore the river!

Riverside Park is walking distance, and is a beautiful place to visit.
Southampton's cruise terminal is 10 minutes by taxi.
The Mayflower theatre is 3 miles, and Southampton Airport 2.8 miles away.
You can take a fast train to London in just over 1 hour.
The New Forest, Salisbury, Bournemouth and Portsmouth are all just half an hour's drive.

We had a great time, lovely neighborhood, location is easy access to needed items. Marvin is an excellent host. He responds right away with all questions. For a home that is 140 years old it is in excellent shape. Beautifully decorated. Everything we needed was there. Big plus to be on the water. Thank you Marvin!

I’ve owned Albert Cottage for over 40 years. I grew up in this road where the house is situated. A very quiet area. Living by the river is so peaceful. In my younger days I’d dive over the sea wall and swim to the other side.
