About this property

Oceanfront Studio, sleeps 4 -Private balcony, pool, hot tub, BBQ

Enjoy your private beachfront balcony at The Florence without breaking the bank. This tropical second floor studio will sleep 4 comfortably with a queen murphy bed and queen sofa sleeper. It is just a short walk through the gated pool area to the beach. 50" smart TV , cable and high speed WiFi. The kitchen is well equipped for your cooking needs. The bathroom has a walk in shower and plenty of nice towels and beach towels. We supply a beach umbrella, chairs, boogie boards and a cooler for our guests to use.
We are located toward the north part of the island between Clayton's and Wanna Wanna. Walking distance to many places but away from the noise and crowds.
The island has a free Metro bus that picks up right in front of the building and runs until 9:00 PM.
Pet friendly. Pet fee and Pet Agreement required.
Max guests: This unit must not exceed 4 guests.

Starter supplies provided- coffee filters, paper towel roll, 2 trash bags, 2 TP per bathroom, small dish soap, liquid hand soap, small bath soap, small shampoo. For safety reasons no food items are provided in the condo.

Parking: One parking permit is provided in the condo. If you have more than one vehicle and need a second pass, please request it prior to arrival so we can have it in the condo for you.
Spring Break: Spring Break age requirement is 21, everyone staying must be at least 21 unless they are with their parents. No exceptions.
Security Dates: $25 ID Wristbands are required for each guest over the age of 10 during the following times: Spring Break Texas week, Easter weekend, Samana Santa, and Independence Day Holiday weekend. Please reach out for current security dates if you are booking around these dates. This cost pays for security that is hired during these times.
Rental Agreement required.
All guests must adhere to the rules of the building. Please be considerate of others in the building.

The hot tub was really hot yet we loved it being from MN. A little bummed about the pool being shut down while we were there. The keypad to get in the room was very touchy, the #1 was sticky. The beach and view was absolutely amazing though. Will for sure make another trip next year.

The hot tub was the perfect temperature. Tha AC went out and the host addressed the issue immediately by sending out a repairman. Having the ability to see the beach, no matter where you're at in the studio, was a major plus.

Very cozy and relaxing

Wishing Mother Nature was more cooperative but no control over that - did have a few good days to catch some sun and enjoy the beach and pool . My only negative parts are that there was no about local grocery stores , activities, and the beach was not very clean which was disappointing. Over all my Aunt and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the stay .

This was a very nice place to stay, easy access to the beach a nice pool and supplies to go to the beach. The bed was good. Pullout couch was a typical couch bed so my friend and I had to share a regular bed, but there was plenty of room. We walked to a lot of places or took the free bus. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great location & view of the beach. Space was small but cozy. The bed was harder than we like but it's a murphy bed...first time we have slept on one. We used the laundry room the last day of our stay and had a few items stolen from the dryer, despite us checking on them during the process.

The property was as described. It had all the amenities we needed beach towels, beach chairs. It was a little difficult to navigate around the island without a car. But we did rent a golf cart, which helped very relaxing on the ocean.

For my wife and I the place was perfect. We did experience a mix-up at check-in and a minor one during our stay, but management responded immediately in both instances and they took care of us. We will definitely consider booking this again for this area.

We are a mother daughter team who started as a hobby when I became an empty nester and my mom retired from a career in health care. We had so much fun that we grew our little business and now we have several units on South Padre, which is our favorite place. We hope it will become yours too.

Why they chose this property

The north side of the island is away from all the hotels and a bit more peaceful. Florence is located between Wanna Wanna and Clayton's and right down the street from Kelly's Pub.
