About this property
Just steps to the beach
The Villa St Lucia is part of the Oasis Marigot Villas. The Villa St. Lucia offers island visitors spacious two-level interior accommodations with breathtaking views of the sea, sky, and swaying palms. Nestled on the hillside just above Marigot Bay, Villa St. Lucia will ensure that all the delights of this Caribbean jewel are yours to behold in the glorious light of morning, noon, and night. The property features extensive landscaping and flowers. Lush tropical plants, fascinating native vegetation, and a romantic plunge pool weave their magic all around, enveloping you with the soothing warmth and relaxation this idyllic retreat is famous for.
Two levels of accommodations: The upper, main level of Villa St. Lucia includes two large bedrooms each with A/C, a king-size bed and bathroom, plus a complete, fully-equipped kitchen. The main living area is a large, open-covered verandah to better enjoy the stunning beauty of Marigot Bay. The decor is true St. Lucian, making full use of local arts and crafts.
Comfortable rattan furniture complements the verandah's exotic hardwood floor, which runs the full length of the villa.
The first level features a fully equipped suite with a kitchen, a screened lanai, one bedroom with A/C (king-size bed), and an adjacent bathroom.
Laundry may be done by staff only at $12 USD per load. The guest does not have access to the washer/dryer.
The villa is rented as a whole, so will always be 100% private to your party. The first-level suite is great for any members of your group who prefer a bit more privacy.
There is no road access to this side of the bay - only ferry - so it's very quiet and serene (2 min crossing). A mandatory weekly ferry pass must be purchased on-site for $20 per person. *If you have some mobility issues, please note that the property is located on the hillside and we do have some steps around.*
There is no grocery store located in Marigot Bay, I highly recommend stocking the villa with groceries on arrival. Please ask for more details on this service. The closest grocery store is located in Cul de Sac-Massy (20 min drive away).

One of the most beautiful places i have ever seen. I would recommend bringing your own food as the restaurants are quite expensive (the taxi driver will stop at a grocery store on the way from the airport). Also JJ's across the way has the best pina colada I've tried so definitely make that a priority:)
This place is absolutely amazing. The surroundings of the house was very lush and breathtaking. The house was more than I expected. Beautiful, clean and great views. If I ever return to St. Lucia, which I hope so, I would definitely stay at the same place. I also love hanging out with the cats, Jeff was my favorite.
Enjoyed the property, having access to several nearby restaurants and the chair lift to our property. Clean and well-stocked kitchen. Nice eating area for 6 alongside the screened in porch. Nice to have separate level for more privacy. Spacious pool deck and clean private pool. Helpful onsite guest services staff. Great value for money spent. Would definitely recommend to other families.
This villa was a great find on VRBO. The pool was by far the best part and it was extremely clean. The view from the property was wonderful. We enjoyed walking down to the local restaurants and the ferry back and forth from the other side of the bay ran frequently and was a quick and easy trip.
We had a group of 6, so we used both the upper & lower floors. The pool area and views are great. We had a few issues to start, but most of them were were addressed promptly. The only real downside, is that there are a lot of steps (if you aren't in good sharp). There is a "trolley" to ride up/down, just kind of slow. Overall, we had a great time on St. Lucia.
Our Marigot Bay Oasis villa was amazing! Our family included my husband and I and our two adult children. We all enjoyed having our own pool, air-conditioned bedrooms, and the incredible view that we woke up to each morning! The groceries I pre-ordered were appreciated! The Oasis Team was super helpful and attentive. The locals in the area were incredible! We enjoyed getting to know so many wonderful people during our stay! They were truly the treasures of the area! Doolittles was a perfect place to hang out for drinks and we also ate there a couple of times. The water taxi was easy to use and Ricky always greeted us with a smile! We rented a car and were able to travel to a few other areas on the island. We had an absolute blast and the Marigot Bay Oasis Villa was a perfect choice for us! Thank you for making us feel so welcome!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa St. Lucia. The Villa is nested in with other buildings at the Oasis Marigot resort. You have your own pool, two lovely bedrooms upstairs, a screened porch and a well equipped kitchen on that floor as well. Downstairs via a separate entrance is another bedroom and kitchen which we didn't use at all during our stay. The pool is access from outside steps on the top floor and from a screened in porch on the lower floor.
Bedrooms have AC (the rest of the villa did not). No concern for us as we love the open air living. AC in bedrooms does only go down to 23 c which I would have preferred less but completely comfortable.
I have to stress that the kitchen is very nicely equipped with cooking utensils and pans that I would purchase for my house. That is a treat compared to most places we stay and it was very much appreciated.
The staff at Oasis Marigot are also very helpful. They organized our car rental and through another service, we were able to get groceries delivered to our villa. The produce was very fresh and it was such a delight to be able to have nibbles and a drink upon our arrival.
Do not hesitate to book and enjoy your lovely stay.

Thank you for reviewing our property in detail. We are happy that overall you have enjoyed your stay with us. It is nice to read that you found the villa "Clean Comfortable Great Space Nice Towels and Linens Kitchen well-appointed Pool clean Feel safe Office staff super helpful."
We are sorry if you had more rain than expected during your vacation as it leads you to see some things in a more negative fashion.
Ferry pass: we do mention this fee on our listing in the description area. Accessible by public ferry (no road access). Weekly ferry pass available for purchase for $20 per person.
Beach: We do have a small beach in Marigot Bay. Because we are in a bay it is a smaller beach but it's perfect to relax and enjoy a refreshing swim. We provide free beach chairs to our guests. By the way, Marigot Bay is not far from everything. It is right in the middle of the Caribbean coast and we have a dive shop, watersports, several restaurants, etc, right here in the bay area. Marigot Bay is also the second most popular sport on the island after the Pitons. It is considered the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean.
Curfew: Prior to all our guest arrivals we provide as much information regarding the current pandemic rules and restrictions. Those travel rules have changed quite often lately because the situation has improved and we do our best to provide all this information as soon as it's released. It is good to know that the visitors fully vaccinated are now able to visit the full island freely.
Safe box: You did not inform us that the safe was not operating. We pride ourselves in providing an excellent service but we need to be informed if something goes wrong. This was just a battery replacement.
Oven: Again here, this issue was not reported except in your current feedback and we have been in contact with you several times. We wish this was brought to our attention during your stay. We tested the oven once informed and it's working perfectly. You just need to push the ignite button to start the pilot since this is a gas oven.
We want to thank you for choosing our villa for your stay in Marigot Bay.

Absolutley Fantastic
Villa St. Lucia at Oasis Marigot is everything you want it to be and everything they promised it would be. It is clean, attractive, has it's own clean pool (HUGE bonus) and 3 good sized bedrroms and bathrooms--2 kitchens! It feels very secluded because of the gorgeous tropicals plants around the pool deck but is only 5 minutes easy walk to Doolittles restauarant and bar and a little beach. The staff is super friendly and always available to answer questions and help you. We ate at/hung out at Doolittles probably 5 nights out of 7. Great food and pool tables and rum punch to die for. If you take a water taxi or a day sail, you get on those boats right near Doolittles so it's super convenient to Vill St. Lucia. The villa only has AC in the bedrooms but we found it still very comfortable in the common areas. No TVs which is great because we spent our time swimming, boating, zip lining and having rich family conversation instead of staring at a TV. Didn't miss TVs AT ALL. If you're used to really high end hotels, you may find the villa more cottage-ie, rather than super duper fancy. It's clean, cute, nice linens, with all the comforts of home. No bugs. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed it so much we came back for more!
We (two couples of friends) stayed at Villa St Lucia for a week in 2014, when we were unable to book at the Inn on the Bay at Marigot Bay for the week when we were visiting the island. We enjoyed the experience so much that we made a trip back for another week in the same property the focus of our Caribbean holiday in 2016. The villa occupies a stunning position above the north side of the bay, and is beautifully kept both inside and out. It is designed to accommodate 3 couples in 3 double bedrooms, but on both occasions we visited, there were just the 4 of us, and we just used the 2 "upstairs" bedrooms, with the magnificent shared lounge and small kitchen. There is a smaller lounge and another kitchen attached to the other (downstairs) bedroom, but we did not use those facilities at all. There is also a small outside pool with loungers which is a private facility shared between the (potentially) 6 occupants of the villa. This was a wonderful space for lying in the sun and enjoying the humming birds and butterflies in the well-kept grounds of this and nearby villas.
Marigot Bay is very well provided for with excellent restaurants (the Rainforest Hideaway and Chateau Mygo are particularly recommended), so we made very little use of the kitchen, but the equipment available was excellent if we had wished to cook ourselves meals. The property is quite a good walk up the hill from the water-side, but a small funicular railway is available to take passengers and luggage up and down.
Finally, I should emphasise the excellent support provided by the staff from the nearby Oasis Marigot office, who will organise trips, dinner bookings and anything else you are likely to need. In our case, Manjella (apologies if I have got the name wrong) came over to the villa at least 3 times on the first day to help sort out a problem with the safe in my bedroom, and did it all with great cheerfulness. In addition, when we had problems with the WIFI connection at the villa (which was fine at times, but a bit intermittent), we were encouraged to go over to the office and provided with a seat (and a computer if we'd wanted it) so that we could enjoy their more reliable network. And the lovely Samantha comes in virtually every day to keep the place spotless. Altogether a great place for a vacation.

From the beginning until the very end! Was perfect! We will be going back sometime every year !!!!!! The taxi waiting for us on arrival! The villa was set up upon our arrival! Rental car dropped off first thing in morning , staff available and friendly! The only thing wrong was the ac didn't work very well in one room! HINT HINT! But we are sure it will be fixed next time we are back! Villa was clean and tidy when we got home! Pool clear and blue! VILLA ST LUCIA !!!!!! Thumbs up! Locals great too! The staff I now consider friends !!!!!! Jump on a plane and go to St Lucia and for sure use the Oasis Marigot team for your future trip! Check out their site! And their amazing deals! Awesome Island House at reasonable rate
Our family of 4 along with grandma, all stayed at Villa St Lucia for a week. We rented both the upper and lower unit, giving us exclusive access to the private pool. The house was clean and roomy, and outfitted well. The pool was sparkling clear, and the deck area was much larger than the pictures, with about 7 or so loungers.
I believe the Villa St Lucia is the largest unit at the resort and the only one with it's own pool.
Since it was rainy season, we were glad to have the screened in pool patio and screened in upper living and kitchen area, particularly in the evening when the mosquitos were most active.
The house is nice, beds comfortable, and A/C in the bedrooms was a must in June.
The staff were awesome. Had a bedroom A/C unit stop working, and they had a repairman out the next day, who got it fixed. Office staff also set us up with an airport taxi and arranged to have our rental car delivered to us, after our flight was delayed 7 hours in Miami, causing us to arrive after dark. They correctly insisted we do the taxi after dark, because we would have never found our way in the dark. Glad they insisted, because they were right. Staff was also helpful with booking our sailing and fishing trips. Both were awesome (caught a 250 lb Blue Marlin).
From the Villa, 90% of the view of the water and boats in Marigot Bay is obscured by the trees and foliage, but it was beautiful just the same. Marigot Bay is awesome, with extremely nice (and pricey) restaurants just a minute or two away by ferry ride.
You must be able to climb stairs at this resort, since it is on the slope of a mountain. The villa is half way up the resort hill, and easily accessible from a trolley they have that takes you to the midpoint and top of the resort. But to get to the trolley you still have a dozen or so stairs to climb up. I was concerned grandma might have issues with the steps, but she's a trooper and had no issues.
Marigot Bay is also ideally located between the Capital city and the Pitons. It made for a great base for us to work out of to visit both.
If I had it to do over again, I would stay here 10 out of 10 times.

Happy Traveler
This property was perfect for our young family. There was a great fully equipped kitchen where we could cook our meals and a great pool for the kids to play in. The service here is excellent and we felt very at home. The views of the bay were outstanding and it was such a pleasure to wake up everyday and view the beautiful bay and the wonderful surroundings. I would highly recommend this.

Villa St. Lucia
My wife, daughter and her fiance stayed at this wonderful villa for a very relaxing week. This is our third time on St. Lucia and our second at Marigot Bay. We couldn't be happier with our trip this year. Taking water taxi services to relaxing beaches and shopping at the Castries open market add a rich experience that all-inclusive resorts and cruise ships can't begin to imagine. We really enjoyed spending evenings at Dolittle's having a glass of wine, playing cards and listening to music. What a treat. Of course we'll be back again.

A Home Away From Home
My husband and I were looking for a rental home in the St. Lucia that would allow us the privacy, independence and luxury we were looking for in our first vacation with our infant daughter. Villa St. Lucia in Marigot Bay exceeded our expectations.
The intimate setting gave the adults quiet time and a true feeling of relaxation. Because the villa had it's very own pool and the entire main area of the villa was screened in, we were able to put our daughter down for naps and relax by the pool because we could safely hear her whenever she woke.
The kitchen and pots and pans were in pristine condition. Every day a dedicated staff member would make the beds, refresh our beach and bathroom towels and tidy the villa. We never felt interrupted or bothered.
We would love to return with friends and family to share the wonderful experience we had. We would highly recommend the villa and staying in Marigot Bay.
- Walk to beach & restaurants. - Private pool & villa - Large patio & deck - Self-catering - Very sheltered by gardens & trees for privacy -If you have some mobility issues, please note that the property is located on the hillside and we do have some steps around
