The building, Casa Marquesa de Portago, is uniquely located near the presidential area. A colonial house built in 1573, and remodeled by the talented colombian arquitect Álvaro Barrera, transformed into commercial spaces on the ground floor, currently a delicious italian owned pizza place, one apartment on the first floor, and my penthouse on the last 3 floors. Located perfectly at the main entrance of Casco Viejo, the penthouse has a 360° view of the historical town of Casco Viejo and the skyline of Panama City separated by the stunning Pacific Ocean with views of the Causeway and Panama Canal. The contrast in architecture is mesmerising as it defines Panama's history and gives you a delicious taste of what was, is, and will be, as Panama is growing with love into one of the world's biggest hubs.

Located at the main entrance of Casco Viejo, the penthouse has a 360° view of the historical town of Casco Viejo, the skyline of Panama City and views of the Causeway. The contrast in architecture is mesmerising as it defines Panamas history and gives you a delicious taste of what was, is, and will be, as Panama is growing with love into one of the world's biggest hubs. The Penthouse can delightfully accommodate all traveller types: Friends, Families, Couples, Business travellers


The 1st floor of the penthouse:
* Fully equipped open kitchen and dining area (that can sit up to 12) This is a perfect space for any type of communal activity, it be coffee in the morning or aperitif dinner in the evening. It also is a lovely space to sit down and work with its pleasant light and natural ventilation all day long.
* Guest bathroom and back kitchen area, equipped with kitchen appliances, coffee filter, blender, toaster, sink, washer and dryer.
* Living room, with 3 very comfortable sofas and a library with the owner's personal favourite collection of books and albums.
* Bedroom with a beautiful spacious private bathroom and dressing room- the custom concrete sink was 'craned' up!

On the 2nd floor are:
* Bedroom with 2 Twin beds that can come together as a King
* Open bathroom fully equipped
* Pool Lounge area with hammock , swing, armchairs, outdoor dinner and plunge pool that can host and refresh 3-4 people. Perfect to cool off and to enjoy the tropical sky and the thrilling Casco Viejo vibe.

On the 3rd floor are:
* Master Bedroom, located in the tower of the building, with 3 windows. The oldest tower built by the Spanish to ward off the pirates in Panama!
* a beautiful outdoor 8 people sitting area with a spectacular view of all the surroundings.
