Would highly recommend this property! Myself and 7 friends stayed here and it was perfect!- plenty of space in the house- thoroughly equipped kitchen (great because we wanted to self-cater and it had everything we needed more!)- super clean - plenty of essentials provided (towels, bedding, blankets, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, soap etc.)- ideal location for lots of different types of hikes (we hiked every day and never drove more than 45mins to get to any of them)- lovely large peaceful garden- very friendly locals- helpful convenience store and cafe half a minute walk away- useful lock box for the keys (very helpful with a large group of friends coming and going and different times)- possible to access by public transport from elsewhere in UK (some of the group came from the midlands via train and then a bus that came straight to the town)- space for 2-3 cars on the private driveway free parking on the street outside the house- absolutely beautiful countryside!- easy and helpful communication with host, who left Welsh cakes for us came by 30mins before check-out (not to rush us but to say hi and check all fine, then left us to pack up)Honestly couldn’t have wished for a better holiday home :)Perhaps helpful to note:- best to have a car to get around once there- the bedroom with 3 beds is 2 permanent beds 1 pullout bed (proper frame and mattress so no issue there, just good to be aware that floor space is limited if that 3rd bed is set up)

Lovely clean and well equipped kitchen, log burner very welcome and needed, a simple guide explaining how to switch the heating on would have proved helpful!Off road parking was appreciated, local cafe/shop was great, what wasn’t was both pubs in village were closed at this particular time, even though is was New Year’s Eve and day, would have been a nice bonus for our stay, to sum up I would recommend this accommodation!

First time booking with Vrbo, so i was a little apprehensive, but everything went pretty smoothly. Jake was responsive to our queries and we were absolutely delighted with the cottage, perfect for families. Renovated to a very high standard, with pretty much every facility you could wish for. The outside space, a proper garden, was bigger than expected and we had a lovely barbecue on the last day. The kitchen was very impressive: the only thing we missed was a pair of kitchen scissors! If I'm being picky, an extra loo would be useful for large groups( there were 10 of us with 4 young children who can't slways wait.)The sleeping accommodation was clean and comfortable, but not quite what we expected. One room we expect to sleep 4 in 2 sets of bunk beds as shown in the listing. There was only 2 beds in reality with a mattress on the floor in one of the double rooms. We made it work for our group so not a major issue, but other groups might not be able to juggle as easily. The showers and bath were great, once we found the hot water switch! I had a cold shower on the first day. A few user friendly notes would be helpful for future visitors. The dining area was lovely for our group as ee enjoyed being able to eat together. The village store is only a few doors away which is fairly well stocked, so very handy. Plus 2 pubs within rasy walking distance and a café.All.in all we had a delightful stay, everyone loved it.
