We loved our stay at the Old Duffus Farmhouse. The house was clean, the atmosphere lovely and the early morning views of the castle - breathtaking! We can’t wait to visit again!

A Castle Framed in Gold

What an absolutely stunning property. Our room looked out on the ruins of Duffus Castle with golden fields of rapeseed filling out the rest of the composition. The house had everything we needed and felt like a real home (a difficult thing to do!)

We absolutely adored and loved this place. The setting is spectacular. Castle in front yard, wow. Had the whole area to ourselves especially in the evenings. The house is cozy, comfortable and spacious, Listing is accurate, even better in person. House is well thought out for use of space and cozily decorated. Bedrooms are large, beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are spacious and showers are very good in terms of flow and temperature. The kitchen is excellent- well-stocked plus extras! Laundry has washer and dryer and drying rack. Easy to find on gps and roads in area were easy to get around. We stayed three nights and would have loved to stay three weeks! Hosts clearly try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Local information is provided. Highly recommend this property for a most comfortable and relaxing country-side stay to explore the beautiful Moray area and local Speyside gems.

We spent 2 months at the Farmhouse - full Scottish immersion! It was tough to leave and I truly miss having a castle in my front garden.
