Great spot, beautiful location as soon as we got there, we walked down to the beach to explore. Very close to some excellent restaurants, some of the best meals we had in Scotland. The cottage is very private comfortably equipped, and we would love to go back someday!Very close to the ferry that goes to the Isle of sky
Beach we walked to from the cottage and watched the fish jumping in the shallows

This cottage was truly a breath of fresh air and one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland. The beautifully maintained old Scottish farmhouse was spotless, comfortable, and tucked away in a peaceful, secluded setting while still being conveniently located for exploring the Highlands. The location was perfect—just 15 minutes from the ferry to the Isle of Skye and about 35 minutes from Fort William. We also enjoyed watching the historic Jacobite Steam Train cross the Glenfinnan Viaduct, only a short drive away.A short walk down the road led to a quiet, rocky beach that was perfect for exploring at low tide. At the end of the road, a beautiful forest path follows a magical stream beneath towering trees, creating one of the most peaceful walks of our trip. The fresh eggs available from the property next door were a wonderful touch and made for delicious breakfasts.Harry Potter fans will love being just 10–12 minutes from Dumbledore's final resting place on Eilean na Mòine, with the filming location for the trail to Hagrid's Hut only about a 90-minute scenic drive away. Our entire family loved this cottage and its surroundings. Our only regret is that we didn't realize how special and peaceful it was—we would have happily stayed much longer. We highly recommend it and would love to return someday.
