Wonderful loft apartment in the heart of downtown Greenville
Huge space that has been imaginatively designed. Contemporary overall feel with lots of original brick from the historic structure. Decor is lovely too. The location is fantastic, in the heart of the vibrant downtown. We had a lovely stay.
Loved being able to walk to everything in downtown Greenville!

Greenville - our favorite place!
The property needs a good clean ! Lots of “stuff” in every drawer - corner ! I’d rather 8 clean forks than 50 miss matched ! Dark and dingy .smoke detector beeped for hours until we fixed it ( no responce from owner).

Response from VrboOwner on 6 Sept, 2025
This review is unfair. It is unfair because John was silent during the stay, then out of the blue, dropped a low 1 rating with unverified, untrue , phantom complaints. John checked in, stayed for 5 days and had no complaints. You would think if you stayed somewhere for 5 days and you had big problems, you would tell the owner. Nope-crickets from John. A reasonable thing to expect from a guest is that if the place is not as it appears in the photos they will bring it to your attention. Silence from John. If the place is dirty or dingy, a guest should let you know. I heard nothing from John. I did hear from John on the 3rd day of his stay about a beeping smoke alarm. I cannot control or predict when a smoke alarm battery will fail. It did not happen at night. By the time I responded to him ( within 4 hours of his text ), he had already removed the battery. It is factually untrue that I did not respond to John. I do not know why he elected to state something that is untrue about his stay. I heard nothing from John about mismatched forks. There are plenty of matching forks for guests. During the stay, I heard nothing from John about "stuff" in every drawer or corner. It is factually incorrect for John to say there is stuff in every drawer or corner. The place is free of personal items. If a guest has a complaint it is fair to expect them to let the owner know so the issue can be verified by the owner. Otherwise, unverified problems find there way into unfair review.
Short and sweet; great property! Very clean, unique and fun layout, in a perfect location to downtown. The property owner was very welcoming to us and made the check-in and checkout process very easy. I would definitely stay here again!
Great location! Walking distance to everything. The property owner was great at communicating! Very knowledgeable and accommodating. The property was very clean!
This loft style property is centrally located so that you don't even have to move your vehicles and is surrounded by plenty of great restaurants, stores and bars. The rooftop porch is also great for cooler evenings. Overall great property with size and a nice appointed kitchen!
We were in town for the SEC women's basketball tournament and this was the perfect place for us. It allowed us to be together in between games and was a super easy walk to the stadium and restaurants. Bill is so accommodating and gave us so much good information.
I've stayed at hundreds of rental properties over my years a travel, and this loft was one of the more unique setups. We loved it, and it was perfect for our two-family group. The kids loved the multiple floors and ability to find a nook to separate themselves from the rest of the family. The location is perfect to enjoy Downtown Greenville to its fullest, and communication throughout the stat was great. We really enjoyed the rooftop patio that we used to welcome in the New Year and get a bird's eye view of the city during the day. Thanks for a great stay! We had everything we needed, and it contributed to a lovely stay in Greenville.
We absolutely loved our stay in Greenville at your loft apartment. The location is perfect. The apartment was spotless, comfortable and very interesting design and decor. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home! Hope to return someday. Soon!
It has been awhile from my last visit, but the city, and this place, are to be considered the more interesting places in South Carolina to visit. A little city noise at times, but you are in the middle of everything so understandable. There was an awesome street market on the weekend, and the restaurants and coffee shops and stores all around and in walking distance were excellent. Aside from the location, property is also pretty cool, totally unique and welcoming. Would stay again on a future visit.
Perfect property to be in the heart of Greenville. Food, shopping, Christmas activities ALL at your doorstep. Property was full of booking needs (we did Thanksgiving leftovers) and had plenty of space to gather together. Owner had great communication with us. Parking was not free on the weekends during the Holiday season for add'l spaces outside of the 1--so just know. (we parked and then didn't have our wallet when we went over to grab the car to load up and had to go back & forth). Not the owners fault at all, just wanted others to save the walk. We would & will stay here again in the future!
This is a really unique property in Downtown Greenville. Wonderfully decorated and appointed home and the owner was very responsive and helpful. A couple of minor drawbacks worth mentioning - there is only one shower. It says this in the listing, but I think I just assumed there would be more and didn't thoroughly review it. Also, the bedrooms offer little privacy with the exception of the primary bedroom. Not a problem as we had our kids with us, but had we been traveling with adult couples, it would have been, well, interesting.
Great property, great location. Would reccomend
Bill has a very nice property and was easy to communicate with. There were some cleaning supplies and personal items throughout that I’ve never noticed someone having out in rental properties I’ve stayed at prior, but we had a great time and it was a very unique and beautiful space. We couldn’t use the grill, and there was a lot of trash and clutter on the roof which we were a little bummed about. We also only got one parking space so just be aware for groups with more than one car. Overall, a beautiful space I’d say for the money a 7/7.5/10!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Greenville. The condo has an interesting layout, but workable for all women. 1.5 baths in the living area. A .5 bath on the rooftop. I would definitely rent from Bill again.
The rooftop is fabulous! You have to be able to climb some serious steps, but we’ll worth it. The location of the condo is right downtown. You can walk to anything. It can be a little noisy at night, but sound machines & fans help. Bill has done a good job making it cozy. Thank you!

Hosted by WILLIAM JORDAN
William Ashley Jordan Jr. (“Billy”) was born in 1955 to William Ashley Jordan Sr. and Hester Evelyn Smith Jordan. Luckily, I was one of four children, but was the only boy born in this family. I grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, where he attended Donaldson Elementary, League Junior High School, and Wade Hampton High School. In 1973, I attended Montreat-Anderson Junior College, in Black Mountain, North Carolina on a soccer scholarship. However, since I was an avid Clemson Tiger since birth, I transferred to Clemson University in 1974. I tried to play soccer there, but the Tiger soccer team was too good. It contended for a national championship. I joined Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. A friend in my fraternity suggested I try out for the cheerleading team. I took that advice, and cheered for Clemson in 1975 and 1976. I am a member of the Block C Club, and Tiger Brotherhood. In 1977, I graduated with a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism. I thought I wanted to be a park ranger, because I am also an avid lifelong hunter and fisherman. In 1977, I left South Carolina with all my worldly belongings, and moved to Massachusetts to contemplate what to do with his life. I enrolled in Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 1978, thinking that I would fish, hunt, and teach philosophy. After working in Boston inner-city churches, I applied to law school at the University of South Carolina and enrolled in 1980. During law school, I was very fortunate to work for some great lawyers and politicians, including Rex Carter, Bob Sheheen, both of them Speakers of the SC House. I also worked for the House Judiciary Committee, during SC Congressional Reapportionment. I also was fortunate to work for the McNair Law Firm and Terrell Glenn, former US attorney, and Randall T. Bell, who became one of the first judges appointed to the South Carolina Court of Appeals. In 1983, I was hired by the Honorable Falcon B. Hawkins, Chief United States District Judge for
