"Perfect in every way. Gorgeous details throughout.. Happy hours & dinner on the covered front porch. This home is a hidden gem."
- Tamara

"FINALLY! This is by far the best rental I’ve ever stayed in...The home is absolutely gorgeous. The moment I walked in through the kitchen, I was in love — it looks exactly like the photos, if not better. I honestly didn’t want to leave. I’m already worried every rental I stay in after this one will pale in comparison!"
- Melissa

This early 1900s boutique stay was thoughtfully designed to be an unforgettable experience. There are plenty of special touches to look forward to here: luxurious linens, coffee + tea selections (featuring Greenville's local favorite Methodical Coffee), indoor + outdoor dining spaces inspired by quaint European cafes, and classic board games. Not to mention, a native Greenvillian to recommend local gems as you plan your stay.

This home is a licensed City of Greenville rental which means you can book future stays with confidence.

"I can't wait to plan another trip to Greenville JUST to stay here!" - Brooke

"We stayed here while in town for our daughter’s wedding. We loved it so much we joked we might never leave!" - Jean

"What an unbelievable place....The beds are super comfortable with fine threadcount sheets, and the towels look like towels from 4 seasons hotels...Even the shampoo and conditioner she provides is top notch." -Amy

The Cafe.
Inspired by a cozy European cafe, the warm and inviting kitchen is stocked with everything you need — high quality pots, pans and utensils; serving and drinkware; classic spices, oil and vinegar; as well as premium, sustainable soaps by Public Goods. Enjoy meals with family and friends, or relax over a cup of local coffee and a good book at one of the three cafe tables. There’s everything for the coffee connoisseur as well as various tea selections. Featuring: a single cup coffee maker (with provided Starbucks K-cups), a 12-cup coffee maker, and a french press, along with Greenville's locally roasted Methodical Coffee.

The Indoor Living Space.
The perfect space to play a classic board game, enjoy a cocktail, or cozy up in front of a movie, the indoor living space offers plenty of seating and side tables. Featuring: A large, cozy sectional, two swivel chairs, circular seagrass coffee table, television, and a basket of classic games to play with friends and family.

The Outdoor Living Space.
This charming front porch with dining table for 8 as well as three petite sofas is perfect for connecting over morning coffee or an afternoon charcuterie board. Servingware and an ice bucket are stocked in the kitchen for those days that call for a simple but luxurious picnic right at home.

"Jessica’s place is such a great stay. It’s beautiful, and squeaky clean. Well appointed but whimsical at the same time. But most importantly it has a feel. It’s immediately comfortable like a new good friend. I’ve stayed at some good airbnbs that have left me charmed. This one steals first place. Highly recommend. Thank you for a really nice stay." - Monique

Hello, It's great to meet you! I'm Jessica Kilcoyne, a Greenville native and third-generation real estate agent with Sotheby's International Realty. Reviving historic homes has been a lifelong passion, and the Pettigru House and Towne Cottage are my love letters to this city.

I designed every detail of these spaces to feel like Greenville at its best: unhurried, beautiful, and full of character. I want guests to arrive and immediately feel like they belong here — because I genuinely believe Greenville is one of the most special places in the country, and I have spent most of my life in it.

Our Guest Experience Coordinator Salem and I are both available throughout your stay. Nothing makes us happier than when guests leave knowing this city like a local.

Why they chose this property

The Pettigru Historic District is one of Greenville's most cherished and storied neighborhoods. The streets are lined with homes built in the early 1900s, many lovingly preserved, and the area has a quiet, unhurried quality that feels worlds away from the bustle of downtown, even though Main Street is mere minutes away.

I chose this neighborhood because it tells Greenville's story beautifully. It is the kind of place where you slow down, notice the architecture, and start to understand why people who visit this city often end up wanting to stay.

What makes this property unique

When I designed the Pettigru House, I wanted guests to feel the difference the moment they walked in. The restored original marble floors, the plush linens, the locally roasted Methodical Coffee, the named bedrooms each inspired by a historic resident of the home. Nothing was an afterthought.

My favorite thing is hearing from guests who came for a weekend and spent the whole drive home planning their next visit to Greenville. That is what this space was created for.

The Pettigru House also holds a City of Greenville rental permit, which is an important distinction, and a 5.0 star rating across over 150+ guest reviews.
