This unique two-story three-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath cottage (villa) offers over 1,700 square feet of living space and a spacious porch.

You’ll find a spacious living room, dining room and fully appointed kitchen with breakfast counter, refrigerator with ice maker, granite countertops, microwave, dishwasher and laundry area with full-size washer and dryer. Just off the living room is a large screened back porch with plenty of outdoor seating.

In addition to the main living areas, there are three bedrooms. The master suite has a large master bath with a garden tub, a separate glass-enclosed shower and a double vanity. Upstairs you'll find two bedrooms and one full bath. Other features include a ½ bath adjacent to the living area, vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, central heating and air conditioning, and lots of storage areas.

It was a beautifully maintained cottage with everything you needed. Only negative in our experience was the housekeeping. One bed had soiled linens and the kitchen floor was not the cleanest.

The property seemed recently updated and the furnishings and decor was all beautiful. There was plenty of seating for our family and even guests we had for dinner. We love vacationing at Martinique because of the ability to ride the golf carts or ride bikes to the beach or the pool. This was our 4th year and we expect to return many times, hopefully to Blur Skies.

The location is right near the main flow of traffic, so you see and hear cars etc. The golf cart is gas (not electric like most) and smells awful, so they provided us a replacement, which we were grateful. There are no sand toys, chairs, umbrellas like most rentals, so make sure to keep this in mind. Overall, we love Martinique. We will be back!

Reviewer Comments: This house was beautifully maintained and so welcoming! 5 adults stayed here and it was perfect, we never felt crowded, everything was so spacious. The house is the first one on the right when you enter the property so that was a nice surprise, but it also means we were the farthest house from the beach, which isn’t far at all. Especially with the golf cart that comes with the house!! Only about a 3 min ride to the beach and maybe around 10 min walk if you’re strolling (which I recommend you do because the grounds are beautiful)! The whole neighborhood is quiet, very peaceful, and such a good place to renew the mind. House had all the amenities we could need, everything worked perfectly and we always felt safe and at home. Would absolutely come back for another stay!

The beach was not crowded despite it being a holiday weekend, which was so very nice. The cottage was incredibly clean and had absolutely everything you could need...EXCEPT, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher soap, paper towels, Kleenex, and more than one trash bag, more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. I will for sure pack all those items next time.

It rained almost every day except for the last two days - which was still fine with us. The Blue Skies property was beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed. IMPORTANT to us - beds were super comfortable and the water pressure in the showers was GREAT!!! This was our second time to Martinique - we stayed in a condo the last time, and loved that too! The property is beautiful, the beach is beautiful. Super quiet and out of the way! Our boys utilized the workout facility and the pool there and they loved both. So handy to have a golf cart to get to the beach and back. We will be back!!!!

It was not private with the traffic right next-door, coming and going most of the day and evening.!! The TV location was not good because it was in cased in a cabinet, which made the sound very inferior and plus it was small.! Other than that we love the place. Thank you for sharing your property.Oh forgot, the bed was too tall for us short people, you need to offer a stool!😊

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fine, except for the cleaning. Initially the cleaning look fine, but we discovered areas that was poorly cleaned. the Mid Stay cleaning only took one hour and two minutes to complete. It takes longer than that to clean a three bedroom two and one half bathroom location. Mopping the bathroom and kitchen floor consisted of spraying a cleanser on the floor and then standing on a bath towel and scooting around with their feet to wipe up the spray. Just run a vacuum cleaner on the rest of the floors either carpet or title. Moved no furniture to cleans under that, no dusting and didn't clean the appliances except wiping off the front. As far as we are concerned the cleaning was totally not worth the money we are being charged and the Mid stay cleaningis useless. We do a better job of keeping it clean than the cleaning people.

There was also a canopy tent available to use. The only thing we noticed was there were not enough towels. We had to do quite a bit of laundry. Other than that, we had a great experience and will be back next year!
