About this property

Welcome to Tropical Haven, our 3 bedroom 2 bath home in the beautiful French Caribbean resort community of Martinique On The Gulf. This 1800 sq ft home has everything you could want for a quiet, fun, relaxing vacation. We are located on Ft Morgan Rd away from the crowds of Orange Beach and just a short drive away if you wish to go to the public beaches.
This home has a king bed in the primary bedroom, large walk in closet, huge master bath w/garden tub, separate shower & toilet. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed & the 3rd bedroom twin beds, both have a double closet. All mattresses new Nov 2019. All 3 bedrooms have a flat screen TV, DVD players and ceiling fans. There is a full bath w/ tub & shower for the 2nd & 3rd bedroom to share.
The kitchen is very well equipped w/ side by side stainless steel refrigerator-freezer w/ice maker, stainless steel dish washer, (both new in 2017), smooth top range, microwave, coffee pot, crock pots, mixer, blender, toaster, lobster pot, lots of pots & pans, glasses & dishes.
The living room has ample seating to watch the flat screen TV & DVD movies w/family & friends. The dining room table has seating for 6, plus 4 bar stools at the nearby counter. There will be lots of fun times at Tropical Haven with the many games & cards that are supplied. We also have high speed internet service at the house.
You will also find a full size washer & dryer in the utility room, along with a vacuum if the need should arise. New, (November 2019), vinyl plank floor in LR & DR, and new carpet in all 3 bedrooms.
There are 2 large porches at Tropical Haven with the screened back porch overlooking the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, 2 ceiling fans, a swing, round glass table w/8 chairs. The porch is accessible from the living room, primary bedroom & 1 guest room. The open deck is off the porch. The front porch has 2 Adirondack chairs for relaxing or reading the many books in the library.
In the attached garage you will find a golf cart or bicycles for the short 3 minute ride to the beach, along with a Weber propane grill, chairs, umbrellas & beach toys, all for your use.

Lovely Place and Great Resort

We love Martinique, and this home is lovely! Lots of beach amenities, lots of kitchen gear (knives were great!), and the house was super clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay In Martinique

We booked this home last minute and it was perfect. Clean, spacious, private in the back. Very nice screened in porch plus deck. Perfect for us and 3 adult children. Lots of toys in garage for beach, chairs and gulf cart. Property has two really nice pools and great gulf beach access. We enjoyed our stay.

Spring Break

The house was great! The kitchen & main tub faucets leaked. The house looked like we were the first people to be there in awhile and could use a deep clean. We will be back later this year! Loved the beach toys and such! Directions for using the TV would be helpful but it kept us off the TV for most of the visit!

Wonderful experience

The house was delightful and exceeded our expectations! The house was very clean inside and out. We had Plenty of room for a family of 4 to stretch out. The kitchen offered nearly everything needed to cook with regards pots/pans/silverware/utensils. Rooms were comfortable and our children enjoyed the TV’s in each room when we weren’t at the beech or pool. The indoor/outdoor pool near the house was a huge hit for our kids. The beach was absolutely beautiful and clean. The property sits next to the wildlife preserve so the beach has never crowded. We didn’t use the pool next to the beach but it was a popular hangout for most families. The golf cart was a huge bonus and a hit with the kids, it made going to the pool and beach easy and fun! The neighborhood is truly amazing and very quiet and peaceful! We will absolutely plan our next family beach vacation at this neighborhood and this house!

The pictures actually don’t do this place justice. The pool, beach and golf cart gave so many options! We had a great time and plan to be back!

My husband & I reside in Lou KY, we have 4 children, 11 grandchildren, all living within 6 miles of us, we wanted beach property that we could all enjoy and not spend 2 days on the road to get there. We choose 'Tropical Haven' as that destination. We all go there as often as possible & really enjoy the Gulf of Mexico the beautiful landscaping of Martinique, & the friendliness of the people of South Alabama.
