This unique one-story two bedroom, 2 bath cottage (villa) offers over 1,300 square feet of living space and a comfortable porch.

You’ll enjoy a comfortable living room, dining room and fully appointed kitchen with granite countertops, breakfast counter, refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, Keurig, dishwasher and laundry area with full-size washer and dryer. Just off the living room is a large screened back porch with outdoor seating.

In addition to the main living areas, there are two bedrooms. The master suite has a large master bath with a garden tub, a separate glass-enclosed shower and a double vanity. Adjacent to the main living areas you’ll find another full bath and bedroom. Other features include 10-foot ceilings, ceiling fans, central heating and air conditioning, and lots of storage areas.

The home was clean and the kitchen had everything I could have possibly needed. Having stayed closer to the beach, I was hesitant to stay so far away but the serenity found here was worth it! It was quiet and relaxing. The golf cart was a major factor, because I had no car for a few daays. Loved it!

Perfect Vacay

We had perfect weather. Having the golf cart to get to beach was great since the house is close to the front of the resort. The sand was clean, water cool and Sarah from Ike's was the best about getting us two cabanas for the week. Master bed was super comfortable and we all enjoyed the back porch at night. Don't forget to bring your beach towels. Will definitely be back!

Close to tennis court and to entrance into Martinique off Fort Morgan Road. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

The unit was exactly as described, beautiful with all the comforts of home. Everything you could need in the unit and it was labeled to help you find what you needed which was great. Short golf cart ride or walk to the beach and pool. Very quiet and peaceful. We love Martinique and will definitely be back.

We thought there was something wrong with the golf cart, but decided it was user error on getting it charged. The condo is the furthest from the beach, but not a big deal with the golf cart. It is the close to the tennis court.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked our trip close to our the time we wanted, and the experience was quite good. The house was very clean and inviting. All the amenities were clean and in working order and it literally became our home away from home. Our kids loved the fact they had their own room with a big closet and their own bathroom. The accompanying golf cart was key. Without that mode of transportation down to the pool and beach access, it would not have been as enjoyable a time. My only one constructive criticism is the fact there are no soaps, paper towels, or other disposable trash bags. We had to go to the Dollar General to buy a few things only to have to take most of them all home. It would have been a nice touch to have more than one bar of soap or one dishwasher pod on site.

Relaxing Beach Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always love Martinique on the Gulf. The pools are always clean, the beaches are not overrun, and the carts to get around are excellent. The facilities were excellent, comfortable bed, comfortable place overall. Our only complaints were the internet and the golf cart. The bedroom TV's not connecting at all to the internet. NO TV's could connect to the internet. I had to use tethering on my phone to get the TV to connect to Netflix, etc. Not to mention that the TV cable service is not fully HD. Of course we do not come for the internet/wi-fi, but my kids could not even watch TV in their room, nor could we watch TV in the bedroom unless I connected it to the internet on my phone. The wi-fi was also spotty and would sometimes say the password was wrong. I had to reset it by unplugging and plugging it back in to work, only to do the same things 30 minutes later. I called the office and left a message an no one returned my call. Eventually it finally settled down. The other is that the golf cart needs updating. Tires looked worn, there was rust on the back platform, and the lining on the back seat seat was coming off and looked very worn. Not huge deals, it worked fine and got us where we needed, but something the owners might want to be aware of.

Reviewer Comments: The rental was beautiful.i was so clean and homy. The only problem was with the gulf cart. There was no assigned place to park and we received a warning for trying to fit in a spot to charge our golf cart. It is a very poor system. There needs to be assigned spots or you are out of luck. It offended us when we were given a warning letter about parking on the line. We had nowhere else to park. This needs to be corrected. When we discussed the letter with security they said do the best that you can. No solution to the problem. I would probably hesitate to rent a home that doesn’t have a garage for the golf cart. Very poor set up.

I wish it were a little closer to the beach but having a golf cart and ample parking really helped. We also loved the pool by the beach. The management was very friendly.The house was beautiful and had a great floor-plan and a nice porch. The master-bathroom was gorgeous. I really liked the bed in the master-bedroom, while my friend, who stayed in the guest bedroom, did not like hers, but it might have been due to different preferences, not sure.There were a few "glitches" during our stay and I wanted to mention three of them, hoping that they will be improved.1. The sauna was out of service the entire time and there was some repair work going on in the Gym during the day. The paint smell was so strong that we couldn't use the equipment. But these were obviously temporary things.2. The flag on the beach remained red the entire week, even when the water conditions were actually no longer hazardous, so we did not get to swim in the golf till the last day. I think somebody simply forgot to change the flag, which was quite disappointing. Next time, I will check the official report for the coast, instead of relying on the flag. :-) 3. The property description should specify that the renter has to purchase their own gas for the golf cart. I was a little surprised to find out on the last day.However, these were just little things, not enough to seriously affect our vacation. Overall, we had a good time and hope to be back!

Only suggestion would be that it needed a refrigerator with an ice maker. There were plenty of ice trays but in the summer when you use more ice that could be an issue but everything else about unit made up for the minor inconvenience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about the property was great - the only complaint I have is that the cottage itself was not cleaned well at all. Here are some of the things I found: Kitchen counter had sand all over it - Dining table was sticky - Sheets that were in plastic for the pull out sofa were not washed (found hairs) - cushions on couches had a lot of crumbs, cereal, and dirt - nightstand in the master bedroom was very dusty as was the free-standing toilet paper holder. I found this very disappointing for the amount of money charged, especially a cleaning fee and the extra time required due to "extra cleaning" for COVID. I would still probably return but would hope for better cleanliness next time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Peaceful. But dark. All of the light bulbs are low wattage and lamps shades were very dark. I loved the property but the lighting did not coincide with the beach feel of the decor. It was very dark. And needed a good dusting. I could write my name on the furniture and mirrors. On the flip side, it was completely furnished. You would only need bring beach towels and clothes. Everything else you would need is located on the property. EXCEPT FOR AN ICEMAKER in the refrigerator but there’s a store 1.5 miles north on Fort Morgan Road where you can but things you might have forgotten.
