The property was great. Had enough room for 7 of us with room to spare. One of our showers was clogged so we all had to share one shower, which was not ideal, but we made it work. The location was great and it was easy to get to via the bus.

A fabulous property in very close proximity to the city centre, whether you want to walk or get the bus directly outside the property. Very spacious.A few issues:One shower was out of order which I queried beforehand and they said there were no reports of a broken shower. On arrival it was clearly signposted that we couldn’t use one of the two showers the property had. We were a party of 8 for our daughter’s wedding, so having only one shower was a bit tight.You couldn’t have a nice cup of coffee as all the mugs were old and large, like something you’d pick up at a car boot sale. This may sound minor to some but with what we paid for the property, I would expect better. The bedroom I stayed in had half a curtain pole and only half the curtain hanging!!! No joke! There was a blind but lots of light came in!For the amount we paid, I would have expected the finer details to be a little nicer. The photographs online were dated as the property was tired places. We were given some compensation for the shower but heard nothing about the other issues. We know properties go up in price during the Fringe Festival but this was extortionate for the overall decor. I feel no one has invested in maintaining the property over the years, which is a pity as it is a beautiful house and has so much potential to have the wow factor.
