Ocean views abound from this well appointed yet casual beach house property, just steps from the sand.

A perfect place to relax and enjoy family and friends (and occasionally dolphins).

Step out the door, cross the only street between you and the Pacific, and your toes will be delivered to the sand.

Relax in this single story home that’s perfect for 2 or 3 families. The home features dual master bedrooms. One master has ocean views, the other has a tranquil view of the spa and garden. Each master has a King sized bed. One master has rain-head shower + separate tub. Other master has shower.

A kids room with bunked beds (one twin over one full) and en-suite tub/shower bathroom are on the opposite side of the main house from the masters.

The third King bed is in a detached ocean view “cottage” which has a bathroom with a shower.

Also detached is a large fifth bedroom. This room contains a king bed, it's own tv, and couch. The space is ample enough to open up the queen floor matrress for an additional sleeping accommodations.

The floor plan is open with vaulted ceilings and tiled floors for easy beach living.

The kitchen was remodeled in 2012 with a granite countertop space to seat 7. The 8 foot dining table seats another 8-10. Place settings for 16 are provided. It’s a perfect home to gather friends or family for summer, holidays, vacations, or days ending in 'y'.

The large spa can be used cool, to refresh, or you can heat it and use the jets to warm up and relax after a day at the beach.

All bedding is all 100% cotton. Many 500 thread count or Ralph Lauren sheets and covers. Down comforters & pillows for all King beds (down alternative available upon request).

The living area is a great space to get cozy and catch up with family or friends while playing games, or watching a movie.

The garage has a washer/drier and space for 1 car.

The home was exceptionally clean, well stocked, with thoughtful amenities. The location was also great. The beach and park literally across the street and visible from the home. The host was responsive anytime we had a question. The hot tub is large, clean, works, and is gated--a relief with kids. The yard is also entirely gated, so we could let the kids play outside. Plenty of parking onsite (1 garage 2 driveway). Would absolutely stay again.

The host was incredibly responsive and helpful before and throughout our stay. The home was also extremely well stocked from the kitchen to bathrooms. The layout is a bit wonky and we knew that going in from the description, but it is something to consider. The main reason for lack of 5 stars was primarily the linens (worn / low pile) and the house felt a bit tired / dated (e.g., many of the sliding doors and locks were challenging to open and operate and bathrooms that could likely use updating).

Awesome House in Awesome Location

Place was exactly as advertised and perfect for our stay. The location right across from beach and park cannot be beat. House has all the amenities you could want for enjoying the sand and surf. Wonderful location across the street from beautiful LaJolla Beach. The family enjoyed coming back from the beach to a large in-ground private hot tub. Five comfortable bedrooms and four bathrooms made the space perfect for our large family. We loved our time here.

Great location! Literally across the street from the beach. We had a great visit w/children and grandchildren. It’s also walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. The kitchen was extremely well stocked w/lots of spices and appliances. There’re table leaves and we put them in one night to seat 12. Wonderful home and location for extended family

Spacious, well-kept home with wonderful, large hot tub and incredibly close beach access. Exceptionally well-equipped kitchen. Bedroom set up with 4 king beds was perfect for 4 couples kids' room and extra mattresses worked well for our 6 grandkids. We also appreciated the quality and quantity of beach equipment--boogie boards, surf boards, sand toys, beach towels, and chairs etc. Short walking distance to Avenida de Playa with the large variety of eateries was especially enjoyable.

This house was in immaculate condition and the perfect layout for our combined family reunion to have time together but also our own spaces.
