About this property
Cosy Cottage Stunning Loch Fyne Views &Wood Burner
Sleeping 4 guests in 2 bedrooms, this quaint, traditional Scottish self-catering cottage in Inveraray offers a unique retreat. With views out over Loch Fyne from both bedrooms as well as the dining and living room, where could be better to wake up?!
The property enjoys an unrivalled view, and we often find ourselves just gazing out the window at the ever-changing landscape. It provides its own, unique sort of relaxation. With no TV and no WiFi, it allows you to truly escape day-to-day life (without any guilt!).
The cottage has a double bedroom and kingsize bedroom upstairs, whilst downstairs you will find a spacious living room with wood burner (first basket of logs provided), an equally spacious kitchen/dining room, as well as a shower room and back porch area. The back garden is mostly patio, with some seating to enjoy the long summer evenings from.
Bring a good book (or borrow one of ours!), and use your time at the cottage to escape your daily stresses. If you're looking for pampering too, the Loch Fyne Spa is just round the corner (2 minute walk), offering a variety of treatments as well as a Spa Day Pass with access to their swimming pool and facilities.
Located beside Loch Fyne, the cottage is perfect for fishing - mackerel fishing can be done from the shore, or the pier and is free of charge.
It is also popular with those bringing kayaks/sit-on canoes, or SUPs (these can be stored in the back garden)..
With a good central location, Ornumville sits in the outskirts of Inveraray - only a 5 minute stroll to the shops/restaurants/bars, but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle.
We do not allow pets in this property, so it is suitable for those with allergies.
We are centrally situated within Argyll - easy distance to most of the ferries to the various islands, and main sights (as well as just under an hour to Oban).

Inveraray offers a whole host of great places to eat and drink, along with some of the best visitor attractions in the area. Take a trip to Inveraray Jail or Castle; then walk up to Dun-na-Cuaiche - the tower that sits over the village; have dinner in The George, then watch the sun set over Loch Fyne.
With a good central location, it is around an hour up to Oban (with ferries to the various islands of the Inner & Outer Hebrides) - and it is also well placed for exploring both Kintyre and the Cowal peninsula.
We do not allow pets in this property, so it is suitable for those with allergies.
