Beautifully styled accommodation, with wonderful hosts.

Our accommodation was thoughtfully equipped, with every detail beautifully considered. Stylish, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, it’s a wonderful place to relax — especially with the stunning views from Penhill. Henry and Penny are exceptional hosts, full of great recommendations for walks, restaurants, and local history. A truly memorable stay that we’d highly recommend.

Spotlessly clean apartment in a great location - marred by parking arrangements, I have a large car and being warned of the limited space would have allowed us to take my wife's smaller car.My allocated parking spot was taken by another resident resulting me having to park elsewhere. (offsite)Only other negative was the heating - despite attempting to raise the temperature with the thermostat it didn't help, we can only assume it was set and couldn't be changed.

I've looked into this experience for you. We always hope the guests will have an enjoyable and comfortable stay. I have spoken with my colleague who was on site at the time of your arrival and have been informed she offered you The Holt Apartment space as your car is unusually large and it would provide easier access, the Holt guests who arrived immediately after you, kindly agreed to park in your space. She understood that any issue was resolved on arrival. Below is an excerpt of an email forwarded to you to by Vrbo on 13th October: Some people find the car park difficult especially when we are busy. The space is the space and cars seem to be getting bigger! If you would rather park in town you can do so for free (there is an honesty box for contributions) in the Market Square at all times except from 5pm Thursday - 3pm Friday when the market is operational. This parking is just a few minutes away. If you felt there was still a problem with parking, I could have so easily provided an alternative space as the Lodge were only using 2 of their 5 allocated spaces. I only needed to be aware. With regards to the heating, I am sorry to hear you were cold, but the issue could so easily have been resolved if you had contacted me. I appreciate it was a particularly cold weekend with storm Boelo. Most people find the Den warm and cosy but if we had been told you were having problems raising the temperature we could have explained the very simple procedure or even resolved it remotely

Cosy den with everything needed - and more!

Beautifully decorated & generously equipped, a fabulous spot. Pristinely clean. The Den is not spacious but a perfect base for a short stay. Very comfortable, friendly & made to feel very welcome. Would recommend.

Perfect

Everything from the apartment its location and the cleanliness,the complementary tea coffee milk and parkin crisps and biscuits wonderful touch.Even though we didn't see the owners on this visit we know from previous visits they are helpful and accommodating if we need anything.
