About this property
21 Chapel Road, Wrentham
This spacious holiday home with parking is just two miles from the North Sea Coast and beautiful beach at Covehithe, and five miles to popular seaside town of Southwold. Accommodation comprises a well-equipped kitchen opening into the fully enclosed garden, a living room, cloakroom, and three bedrooms with king, twin and single beds, plus the family bathroom on the first floor.
LIVING ROOM
A great placer to relax in after a day exploring, this room is furnished with a couple of two seater sofas, a coffee table, and a large TV with DVD player on the stand in the corner.
KITCHEN/BREAKFAST ROOM
Light floods this sociable space which is well designed with the kitchen to one side and dining table with six chairs sitting beside the sliding doors to the garden.
Appliances include an electric oven with separate grill and four ring hob, a microwave, fridge/freezer (3 shelves and 2 veg drawers; 3 deep drawers in the freezer), a slimline dishwasher, a washing machine, dryer, kettle and toaster and there's a breakfast bar with a couple of high chairs so you can sit and chat to the chef in the family.
CLOAKROOM
Simply fitted with a WC and wash basin.
FIRST FLOOR
Carpeted stairs with a hand rail rise to the first floor landing where doors open to the three bedrooms and the bathroom.
FRONT BEDROOM
The king size bed takes pride of place between bedside drawer units and there's a dressing table with stool and a gorgeous mirror above it, plus a wardrobe with extra space so you can unpack and settle in.
TWIN BEDROOM
Sitting quietly at the back of the house, this restful room is furnished with sturdy twin beds, a bedside table, a chair, and hanging rail for your clothes.
SINGLE ROOM
A good sized room with a wonderful rocking chair inviting you to read those bedtime stories! There's storage in a bedside chest and a wardrobe with a shelf and hanging space. For guests with a baby you'll find a pretty wicker crib as well as a travel cot.
BATHROOM
Fully tiled and enjoying natural light from the window above the wash basin, with a hand-held shower over the bath, a WC and heated towel rail (towels will be provided for all guests).
OUTSIDE
South facing and fully enclosed, this is a great space for children to run around with shrubs, pots, and two seating areas so you can follow the sun round during the day. There's unrestricted roadside parking to either side of this end of terraced house which sits on the corner of Chapel Road and Oak Hill.
The village of Wrentham is a great base for a self-catering cottage holiday. The sandy beaches at Kessingland and Southwold are within a 5-mile drive; the stunning waterways of the Norfolk Broads are and market town of Beccles are also close.
The village has everything you could possibly need right on the doorstep: two good pubs serving Adnams ale (the local brew), an excellent local cafe, a village shop, playing fields, a tennis club and bowling green.
There is excellent walking around the village — along footpaths and through pretty lanes down to the sea at Benacre and Covehithe.
Please note there are 24-hour exterior security camera’s viewing front garden and Chapel Road and the property side wall and Oak Hill Close.
There are no camera’s either inside the property or overlooking the back garden.
No pets, no smoking in property or back garden.
