The villa was excellent. the pictures on the website just don't do it justice. It's modern, well laid out, spacious and located in a quiet area around 15-20 minutes walk or a short taxi ride from the centre of Carvoeiro which has lots of shops, a small sandy beach and a great atmosphere in the evenings with a live band playing in the centre of the town on most nights during our stay. The pool was also brilliant, very well maintained and large enough for our big group of nine which was made up of all different ages from kids to pensioners. Only drawback for us was no air conditioning in the main living area although all the bedrooms did have it fitted. we are from Scotland so maybe that explains why we found it a little hot at times! The whole booking and service support was also excellent- go on just book it you won't be disappointed!

What a property. I cannot recommend this villa enough - it's absolutely amazing. If you get the chance book it.Furnished impeccably, all the bedrooms are extremely spacious. The kitchen caters for everything, and you'll not need for anything. The outdoor pool area is simply fantastic, and comfortable sun loungers.Evening sunshine on the top deck with sea views - just superb.Location wise, 15 minute walk down into town. The villa itself is situated in an extremely quiet residential area, and very private.The property is managed by a local agent, and the check in service was great and they were super friendly. They arrange for a housekeeper to come every weekday (included within the cost) and she's lovely, and you don't even know she's there. Pool also maintained twice a week.Honestly, this villa made our holiday. You'll not be disappointed. And we'll definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Casa Alys. There were 10 adults across 2 generations and it worked perfectly for us. It was in a nice quiet location but was really easy to get into the town, literally 4 minutes in a taxi. We hired a car so it was easy to get to the supermarket, there was a small shop within walking distance. The pool was great and there were enough sunbeds for all of us, which surprisingly isn’t always the case. We actually didn’t spend that much time inside the villa, apart from sleeping, as the weather was so hot. We spent a few nights outside and made use of the barbecue. All the beds were comfortable. Any questions we had were responded to quickly, the only issue we had was there weren’t enough pool towels but that was sorted the next day so no problem there. If I was to give some constructive criticism, the villa was missing a full length mirror. Six girls getting ready for a night out without a mirror was a bit stressful! I would recommend the villa and if we were to stay in Carvoeiro again we would definitely look at staying at Casa Alys.
