Classic Lakeside Cottage, Prime Location-Across from Hoover Auditorium

This cottage at 317 Central is both humble (although it can sleep 10) and strategically located. It is right across the street from the Hoover Auditorium where nightly shows and entertainment are scheduled each summer. It is just 2 streets from the lake and Lakeside town center. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs all with double beds. (one of the bedrooms is a walk through from another). There is 1 bedroom downstairs with 2 twin beds and window AC unit. All the beds have new pillow top mattresses. To keep cool in the summer, all 4 upstairs bedrooms have window A/C, downstairs dining has a window A/C and there are 10 ceilings fans covering all bedrooms, kitchen, dining areas etc. Downstairs has a full bath newly renovated with a tub/shower. There is a 1/2 bath upstairs. The kitchen offers a full size refrigerator, electric range, microwave, toaster, coffee pot as well as lots of cooking / eating ware and plenty of storage space in the pantry. Adding to the "family experience" at this cottage is a dinning room table that can seat 8, a living room that is complete with 2 sofa's, a lazy chair and 45" flat screen SmartTV and free wifi. In addition 1 upstairs bedroom has a 35" flat screen Roku TV.

To make you and your family feel comfortable in this summer cottage home - there are many shelves that are overflowing with children's books, and family games. The back yard includes a large brick patio with a table / umbrella and several sets of chairs and shade under a large hickory tree to escape the hot summer sun at Lakeside. The backyard has a barn that contains a charcoal grill, sandbox toys for the beach and other yard games for your family to enjoy. We also have a propane 2 burner grill.

In the front of this traditional Lakeside cottage you will find a full size open porch with a large awning to keep the sun out, plus comfortable glider and 3 rocking chairs. There is driveway parking for 1 large car or 2 smaller cars. The theme of this cottage is to provide a home that is comfortable, fun and very accessible to all locations. You can sit on the front porch and enjoy the sights and sounds of people, children, bicycles, dogs and golf carts that roll by from morning until evening. You can cook a nice family meal and eat at the dining table inside or have a picnic in the shady back yard. With only 1 block to walk you can quickly find Lakeside's Main Street commercial / social scenes, take in some recreation and the activity at the lakefront park - or you can stay at home and read books, play games or pop in a movie. Whatever you and your family might need, this Lakeside cottage has something to offer everyone during your stay. Bed sizes: 4 Doubles and 2 twins.
