About this property

Beautiful lakeside home with a private pontoon. Perfect place to unwind.

Our grandparents fell in love with Lake Annecy and, Veyrier du Lac in particular, over 25 years ago and it soon became a regular spot for family holidays. Our parents were in a fortunate position to purchase La Chaumine a few years after they first visited Annecy - and it has been a very special part of our family ever since then. The house has been designed with family in mind and, as a result, it is far more homely and hospitable than your typical holiday home. In this sense it has an authenticity to it and, as a consequence, it is a very calm space in which to unwind and catch up with family & friends. The house is full of timeless pieces of furniture and homeware from all over the world, which add interest and warmth to the space. We hope you love it as much as we do.

What a week staying in Veyrier du Lac at this superb home on the lake! It was even more beautiful than in the images. We were met upon arrival by Charlotte who helped get us situated in the home for our stay. She was warm, attentive to our needs and helpful throughout the week. The house is in very nice condition and beautifully appointed. The grounds are exceptional- a perfect setting to spend warm summer days. The location is convenient for walks and biking into the village or even into Annecy. Our family truly felt grateful to stay in a home of this calibre. Thank you for making our family vacation so memorable! We hope to be back again in the future.
