About this property

Spacious Cotswold Home for Groups | Country Escape

Tucked away in the peaceful village of Cherington, this spacious Cotswold home is ideal for families and groups. Sleeping up to 12 across six bedrooms, including a self-contained annex, it offers generous living space, a sunny courtyard and a large garden to enjoy.

Highlights:

• Main house plus private annex
• Wood-burning stove
• Large gardens with trampoline & BBQ
• Private parking & village pub nearby
• Perfect for weddings, special occasions, families, friends. Dog friendly!

The House

Tucked away at the end of a peaceful lane in the village of Cherington, this bright and spacious Cotswold home is designed for shared stays, bringing people together while still offering plenty of room to breathe.

Surrounded by fields and mature trees, it feels wonderfully private and rural, yet well placed for exploring the Cotswolds and South Warwickshire.

The property combines a welcoming main house with a charming self-contained annex above the former stables, creating generous, flexible accommodation for larger groups and multi-generational families.

Living & Social Spaces

The main house offers several inviting spaces to relax and gather.

A cosy sitting room with an inglenook fireplace and wood-burning stove is perfect for evenings by the fire, while the bright morning room, with French doors opening onto the garden, is ideal for slow starts to the day. A dedicated dining area provides space for shared meals, celebrations and long, relaxed suppers together.

In the annex, a spacious living room filled with natural light offers additional seating and a comfortable place to unwind, making it easy for groups to spread out while still feeling connected.

Kitchen & Practical Spaces

The country-style kitchen in the main house is well equipped for group stays, whether you’re cooking for a crowd or enjoying a quiet breakfast.

It includes a Quooker boiling water tap, double oven, utility room and a Sage professional coffee machine with fresh beans for barista-style coffee at home. The annex also has a kitchenette, ideal for light meals, early mornings or added independence.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

Across the main house and annex, there are six bedrooms arranged to suit families and groups.

The main house features a beautiful principal bedroom with a luxurious en suite bathroom, including a deep bath and large shower. Two further bedrooms, one double and one bunk room, are served by a family bathroom.

The annex includes three additional bedrooms and a bathroom, offering comfortable accommodation that feels fully part of the home rather than separate.

Outdoor Space

Outdoor living is a real highlight.

A sunny courtyard acts as a natural hub between the house and gardens, with seating and a barbecue for easy outdoor dining. Beyond this, nearly half an acre of gardens provides lawns, fruit trees and vines, creating a peaceful backdrop for children to play, adults to relax and everyone to enjoy time outside together. A trampoline adds extra fun for younger guests, and private parking is available on site.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire property, including both the main house and the self-contained annex, as well as the courtyard and all gardens.

The home is fully private and accessed via self check-in, allowing you to arrive at a time that suits you. A small number of storage areas remain locked, but there is ample space throughout the house and annex for personal belongings.

The cottage is set up for relaxed, independent stays, with self check-in so you can arrive at a time that suits you.

While we won’t be on site, we’re always available if needed. Guests have access to a 24-hour concierge service throughout their stay, whether it’s help with the property, local recommendations, or arranging experiences and services in the area.

We’re just a message or phone call away!

Nestled among the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, Cherington is a peaceful village where life moves at a gentler pace. With stone cottages, quiet lanes and sweeping countryside views, it’s an ideal setting for a restorative rural escape, with scenic walks and cycling routes starting straight from the door.

The village has its own welcoming pub, The Cherington Arms, just a short walk away. Close by, you’ll find Cotswolds Distillery, Whichford Pottery and The Straw Kitchen café. For eating out, local favourites include The Norman Knight and The Bower House, both within easy reach.

You’re well placed for exploring market towns such as Shipston-on-Stour and Moreton-in-Marsh, along with classic villages including Stow-on-the-Wold and Bibury. Popular day trips include Daylesford Organic Farm, Soho Farmhouse, Blenheim Palace and Stratford-upon-Avon.
