Our stay was exceptional from start to finish. The location is simply outstanding, with breathtaking scenic views in every direction and the perfect balance of relaxation and seclusion. The host’s communication was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. The home was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a memorable visit. If you’re looking for a peaceful, remote getaway with incredible scenery, this is it. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. A perfect 10 out of 10—we would gladly stay here again!

PHENOMENAL place to stay to get the full Skye experience with ease and luxury. Beautiful views, cozy living spaces, and well stocked kitchen with everything you need for a family night in after a day of hiking. Game nights were elevated by the wood stove that was easy to get started. While the location is remote, all the tourist spots are accessible with several local ‘off the beaten path’ options around too. 10/10 will be coming back. Exactly what we were looking for.

We stayed in Long View during the Skye leg of our Scotland trip in February. It was the highlight of the whole trip! One of the best on VRBO. The views are amazing and the windows out front are huge. The house is warm throughout with underfloor heating and a cosy log burning stove in the living room, which we lit every night. It is even better than it looks in the photo’s. The sky and its stars are so clear at night and the sunsets so vivid that we didn’t bother putting the TV on playing board games and looking out for shooting stars and aurora borealis (Nirthern Lights) and yes we did see them. Amazing. Our whole family loved staying here and we cannot wait to plan another visit back to Long View and the magical Isle of Skye. We shall be back. Thank you Ling View and our amazing host Iain.

My husband and my adult children stayed for 4 days in this amazing place. We couldn't have asked for anything better. The location is fantastic, the house itself is beautiful and pristine. All instructions from the host were top notch. I cannot recommend this place enough!
