Mendocino View West is a second-story king suite condo with ocean views and is located in the village of Mendocino. Within easy walking distance of our beaches, headlands, and our many fine shops and world-class restaurants, this suite features a spacious master bedroom with a luxurious king-sized bed, a gas fireplace in the living room, radiant heated floors, a two-person Jacuzzi tub, as well as a dual shower and dual sinks.

Other amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, a private ocean-facing balcony, a full entertainment center, a smart TV with Roku, free Wi-Fi, free long-distance calling, and covered parking. It even includes a comfy Queen sleeper sofa that sleeps up to two extra people.

It was s great visit! We happened to be there to witness the 4th of July hometown parade. What a wonderful snippet of Americana. Our accommodations were clean, organized and we had scenic views from almost every room.

Summer stay

This was the perfect place to stay in the cutest neighborhood. We loved being able to walk everywhere and explore the town. The views from all rooms and the patio were spectacular and the amenities were luxurious. Highly recommended.

A perfect getaway spot for our anniversary

My husband and I were celebrating 25 years together/15 year married and wanted a place that was convenient to the town on Mendocino. Not only was this rental a short walking distance to all that we desired, but it gave us the perfect respite we needed when we were done exploring the town. We ate out most meals, but could have easily made meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom tub and shower were delightful additions, as was the little balcony which looks over the town and towards the ocean. The king bed was comfortable and the cleanliness of the place was impeccable. Thanks for such a magical stay!

Our stay at Mendocino View

Great location you can walk everywhere in town. The view is spectacular with an outdoor deck to enjoy the view and beautiful weather. The wood detail in the house is so warm and inviting. The bed is very comfortable and views from every room in the house. You even have a protected spot to park your car. There are wonderful restaurants right there in the town. We definitely recommend this beautiful home.

Great Location & Lots of Space

The apartment was nice and clean. We were able to spread out and enjoy the space. The living room gets lots of sun and has a nice area where you can stretch and do yoga. We also enjoy the deck overlooking Mendocino and the location overall. Much better experience than staying at an Inn.

Nice weekend in Mendocino

Spent a long weekend in Mendocino. The house was a short walk to central Mendocino and a little longer walk to the Headlands. Everything was nice and comfortable. Really enjoyed the hot tub. Checking in and out was super easy. Only complaint was a lack of a baking sheet in the kitchen, but we were able to improvise.

Spectacular Anniversary Stay

Everything was as described. Great ocean views, lots of light and fresh air (when desired) inside. Within easy walking distance of downtown and the headlands. We felt appreciated and welcomed with a complementary bottle of wine AND a Happy Anniversary card! Great sized kitchen with all the necessities. Great shower, tub and deck for two. I highly recommend this location.

Overall great place

This was our second time staying here and we loved the location and apartment just as much as last time. Our only complaint was the main bedroom bedding had an odd/sour smell that lasted the duration of our visit and rubbed onto our pajamas. While we didn’t let this ruin our stay, for approximately $500 per night, I expected better quality. Overall, this is still a great place and we will return in the future.

Excellent Apartment

Very clean and accommodating. Kitchen is large and very useful. King bed was comfortable and bathroom is very nice. Living area could use a furniture upgrade and a modern large screen TV. Ocean view is a bit of a stretch but views in general are pleasing. We were in Mendocino for a week long artist event and wonderful lighting of the living area and deck was perfect for painting on foggy mornings. Location walkable to town businesses. Hopefully, we will return next year for the same even.

Spacious not silent

This is a large space which is close to town. It needs a few updates to become a high end property. The biggest issue was the main road directly in front of the property which made relaxing on the balcony impossible and getting a cross breeze too noisy. It’s a great space in a loud location.

Roomy, convenient and well-appointed

Our stay was completely problem-free at the View West unit. Parking was a snap, the few stairs easily navigable, and the unit extremely nice and spa-like. The double shower was lovely. The morning muffins delivery was sweet. Everything required in the kitchen. The sofa bed was fine, the bedroom bed super comfy. We felt well taken care of, and enjoyed Mendocino immensely. The Cafe Beaujolais was divine and a short walk. We enjoyed the botanical gardens, and the many walking trails about the shore. Also, a lovely canoe trip up the Big River (Catch a Canoe...) in a redwood outrigger canoe revealed a cormorant breeding colony, river otter, and mergansers.
