Welcome to one of the best view accommodations in Cooper Landing! You feel as if you can literally touch the mountains with magnificent Mt. Cecil Rhode towering before you! Listen to the rushing river as the eagles soar above; a true 'wilderness experience' with the comforts of home! Your 'space' is the very private entire downstairs overlooking the Kenai River & majestic mountains! There is a separate entrance and you may never even know anybody else is around even though we live here as well. We'd love to meet you or, if you want to indulge in the serenity of the Kenai, we respect that. The full, newly remodeled kitchen is very well appointed with full size fridge, microwave, coffee pot and french vanilla creamer. The essentials are provided such as oil, salt and pepper and a welcome basket of fresh fruit, homemade muffins, oatmeal packs in addition to homemade Greek yogurt & berries parfait and fresh hard boiled eggs greet you! There's a private deck overlooking the river to lounge, bar b que grill and fire pit right outside your door for the option of enjoying the outdoors a little more. A small library stocked with Alaskana books for pleasurable reading is available, but we also have DirecTV and free wifi. You might find our huskies more entertaining! The host huskies usually greet you and will keep you company if you desire; they are all as happy to host you as we are! The king size bed has gotten rave reviews and the queen and futon are wonderfully comfortable as well. The bathroom is why we term this 'luxury'; with it's hammered copper sink and full glass, rain-shower water stream, it has been awarded 5 stars by our guests!
