If you are looking for a great vacation, Captain's Chair is the perfect place to be! This updated 2-bedroom 2.5 Bath offers comfort, style and everything you'll need for a relaxing getaway. Captain's Chair 18A is conveniently located just steps from the beautiful Lagoon style pool at The Purple Parrot. Park right in front of your own Villa with a screened-in front porch to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

This Gulf Coast getaway features: Updated living room furniture with a pull out sofa sleeper and a large screen TV as well as a fully equipped kitchen with Breakfast Bar and updated decor throughout. Cozy up with books, movies, and games on days when the sun decides to hide. There is a half bath downstairs and 2 large bedrooms upstairs with full baths. The master bedroom has a wall-mounted TV and a wonderful balcony with lounge chairs to relax in after a day of enjoying the beach or resort pool. The second bedroom features two (2) queen beds, a TV and a small private balcony. The unit also has a crib for our smaller guests. The Purple Parrot is located on the beautiful Barrier Island of Perdido Key just minutes from golf courses, world-class fishing, marinas, great restaurants and miles of white sand beaches. Enjoy local favorites like The Jellyfish, The Pointe, Sunset Grille and Perdido Key Oyster Bar and MORE. Johnson Beach Gulf Islands National Seashore is only a quarter mile away, and plenty of public beach access points are also nearby for you to explore and enjoy.

The Resort offers amenities such as: an indoor heated pool, sauna, showers, workout room, and hot tub. We are thrilled to be here and hope that you will come to relax and enjoy all that Perdido Key and The Purple Parrot have to offer.

Beautiful Place

Our family liked the pool, hot tub, short walk to the beach, and comfy beds. The front porch swings + chairs on the balcony were great for lounging or sipping coffee outside.

Love Captain’s Chair!

Very clean. Super close to the pool but not so close that you can hear everything. The pool was big and plenty of room for everyone there with places to be in and out of the sun. We loved the Purple Parrot resort and will be back!

Captain’s Chair

The house was beautiful, clean, and the beds were comfortable! The house is conventionally located close to the pool for easy access! The Tiki bar is a nice treat to have for drinks and food, however, the grill charged us more for food on Friday; when questioned, they said they had a menu increase! (Menus were the same! We had small children so the walk to the beach was not doable, so we bought passes to the Johnson beach state park and drove to the beach each day. Not crowded at all-

Captains Chair

We loved the condo, the closeness to the pool, close to the places we love to eat. Couldn’t get wifi to work but we survived. We encountered a very rude guest, calling us names, making threats not only to us but a couple employees. I would recommend sending someone like on their merry way.

Fall Break getaway

This property was exactly as described in the cute community of Purple Parrot. I was nervous about the noise from the bands late at night, but I didn't have an issue with it at all. The TVs and all equipment worked perfectly. Property management messaged and responded quickly. Loved that this is gated since it's on the main drag. We love Johnson Beach and we could get there within 3 minutes almost every day.y family loved this property and will likely rent again. The only item that could make it better is if the outdoor pool could be heated ☺️

First time in Perdido Key

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a great time at the Purple Parrot. The house we stayed in was in good shape, everything was well furnished and any help we needed was addressed right away. Everyone we talked to that helped during our stay was very friendly, especially JD the property General Manager. When we arrived he was in the condo himself making sure it was ready to go for us. We were very impressed with his help and communication. The area is still recovering from last year’s hurricane and there is a lot of construction going on at the resort. Even with this, none of the construction started too early in the morning and it ended early in the evening. The construction workers also gave us our space and were friendly. Other than the storage containers taking up some of the parking spots, the construction didn’t effect our stay. The condo we stayed in, Seaclusion, had all brand new appliances and all the furnishings were in good shape. We had no major issues with anything in the home. I would recommend staying at the Purple Parrot and specifically at Seaclusion. We had a great vacation and we hope to visit again!

Very relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our stay and condo was very accommodating!! 18a was a great location right near front gate entrance and pool entrance. The only negatives it got a little warmer upstairs than we prefer and it was hard to open freezer door on refrigerator. Thanks for the getaway!! Also enjoyed pool time with live music and pretzel bites and flavorful fruity drinks from the bar!

Close to everything!

Very clean and well furnished. Great location. Close to the beautiful beaches, shopping, and resturants. Unit isright beside the the pool, which is a big plus for families with kids. Only complaint is the volume from the live band at night, entirely too loud and goes till way past the scheduled time. Otherwise an excellent property.
