The newly updated Villa with Tropical décor includes gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico. This vacation rental is located on the Gulf side and tiled throughout.

This Villa includes a kitchenette, breakfast bar, two entertainment centers, a sleeper sofa and folding bed ottoman, and a private balcony. The bathroom includes a luxurious garden tub, an extra hair dryer, and a large walk-in shower. Enjoy the private balcony for breathtaking sunrise or watch the fireworks over the Destin Harbor on special occasions. Washer and dryer also provided in unit for your convenience.

We come to stay every summer and really couldn't have imagined the service could get any better, but it did! They now offer contactless check in/out. So convenient!! Our condo was clean, beautifully decorated and set to a comfortable 72° when we arrived. Amazing. We'll see y'all next summer!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was what the pictures showed. Good location. Pool was clean. Lazy river has a lot of leaves in it. Our rooms sheets did not seem clean. We washed them. The patio door handle was loose and very hard to open. We called and left a message, was never called back. It was also very dirty around the patio door/baseboards of it. Internet had to come replace boxes while we were staying there. Very loud metal piece by walkway, we heard every time someone stepped on it inside our room. Garage was clean and easily accessible.

We were able to bring a guest with us, but we're limited to the 5 wrist band which was worked out. #V309 came with a beach umbrella and 2 chair every day for 9am-6pm which was perfect. The water was warm. We also enjoyed the large pool by the beach and the lazy river. Lots of places to eat. Was one our top favorite vacations.

The main bed was very comfortable, almost didn't want to get up! Sofa also very comfy. Table and chairs were large and easy to wipe down after meals.

Space in villa is good. So nice to have the kitchen to prepare meals. Bathroom is great! A soak in the tub after long day of play is relaxing! We sat on the balcony and ate...nice. The main bed is comfy. The couch bed is Ok but has some odd spots. The ottoman bed was not comfortable(maybe a child could sleep on it?) The washer/dryer combo did not dry and maintenance did not come to fix it so we had to go into town for laundry. Since we had to wash our beach towels/suits, we were expecting to do it in villa. Always enjoy the lazy river and hot tubs over the bridge.

Nice resort

The resort was a great location, and the amenities were very nice and pools were nicely kept. The resort itself was pretty clean, but our condo was dirty when we arrived. Everything needed wiped down and we had to go buy a swiffer to mop the floors. My kids feet were black from the floors being dirty within 5 minutes of being there. The couch and the little twin fold out bed were dirty and stained also so we had to keep blankets over it. There were a few other minor issues like the toilet handle had to be jiggled every time you flushed so it would stop running there was also a small crack in the toilet bowl but didn’t seem to be leaking and the sliding door wouldn’t lock and was hard to slide open to the balcony. I did call the front desk and they offered to make a work order right away. Over all was a nice place to stay once we got the room cleaned.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: V309 was a great location. The bed and the couch bed in the room were not comfortable and both are very squeaky. The wifi was hit or miss in the few times we were actually in the room. The pools and location are the good part. My biggest complaint is everyone has to wear a rubber bracelet to access the pools. They are not made to fit on children’s wrists so they will fall off in the pool. Destin West then bills you 20$ PER BRACELET. They make you sign an agreement at check in so I knew it was coming, but what a ****** way to make more money off your guests. I’ll likely stay elsewhere on my next visit.

Nice and clean studio; wonderful resort

Our first rime using the VRBO app, some quirks but overall good experience. The check-in was a bit confusing due to it being our first time on the property and not easily finding the # to call for the property mgmt company that managed the unit. The studio (Terrace unit) we stayed in July1-5 was clean and felt larger than expected due to the efficient floor plan - a family of 4 (husband, wife 2 children 18 & 26). The unit had all we needed for cooking although the stovetop and microwave/convection oven are not ideal - takes longer than standard size yet we appreciated them since we wanted to eat in due to covid. The master bed was comfortable (we brought our own pillows although enough were supplied). The sleeper sofa was only slept on as a sofa not extended out so we cannot comment on the mattress. The pull out ottoman was comfortable enough for our 18 yr old. We loved the patio rocking/gliding chairs - the scenery is ok mostly other buildings yet nice enough and glad to have access to a larger balcony & cool enough in the evening as it is East facing. Beach access is convenient, a 3 min walk through the property, the swimming pools always had lounge chairs available and we xould find at least one pool that was more quiet; we loved the lazy river!! Walking was also available along the bay side. Convenient to grocery stores, pier, and activities (although we were discerning and stayed away from crowds, again due to covid). The fireworks on Wednesday night surpassed our expectation; actually all surpassed our expectations. We will visit again. :)
