About this property

3 Bed in Dereham (oc-65903)

Once an active World War II RAF base water tower, this renovated property boasts character in abundance and has glorious countryside views. Located in a central Norfolk area, it’s perfect to explore the wonders of Norfolk, ranging from the white sandy coastal beaches at Holkham, through to the national trust sites of Felbrigg and Blickling Hall and premier bird watching site, Cley marshes. For those that would like some retail therapy or diverse culinary experiences, the City of Norwich is Approximately 15 miles away. There is a local village shop located one mile from the property.

Upon entering the property, you will arrive in a hallway, which leads to a master bedroom and en-suite with shower and WC to the right featuring fantastic views of the equestrian centre and livery. Heading left you will come into the spacious kitchen, that features two comfy sofa chairs, as well as a breakfast bar and two bar stools. Within the well-equipped kitchen, you will find an electric oven and hob, microwave and a fridge/freezer. Off the hallway is a utility room which houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. Heading upstairs via the kitchen, you will find fascinating war time memorabilia in cabinets on the landing which leads to a single bedroom offering views out over the countryside, a W/C and shower room and another double bedroom also boasting stunning views. Continue along the landing into the open living and dining area. Here you will find two large comfy sofas, a TV and a large dining table for up to six guests. Wi-Fi is also available for guests to use. The living area not only benefits from panoramic views of the equestrian centre, but also out into the countryside. There is also a large balcony accessible from the living area, perfect to watch the sun go down.

Heading outside to the front of the cottage is a large private decking area. Located outside of the cottage is the large equestrian centre featuring a livery, paddocks and outdoor school and guests have use of all of the equestrian services for an additional cost and a brand new horse arena.
