About this property

2 Bed in Bodinnick By Fowey (oc-pc066)

This sympathetically converted 16th-century former grain store is a set on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Boddinnick-by-Fowey, a quiet tiny hamlet with a farm shop and 13th-century inn. Whilst staying in this delightful property, why not visit Ferryside, Daphne du Maurier’s house which is situated by the slipway. From here you can take the ferry across to the bustling town of Fowey with its winding streets, waterside restaurants, shops and galleries. The property is also ideally located to explore the all the delights Cornwall has to offer: for walkers there are plenty of trails and paths to follow including the South West Coast Path and Fowey Hill Circular Walk. Why not visit the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, or historic villages of Looe and Polperro?

The ground floor of the cottage provides you with a delightful farmhouse style kitchen/diner which is fully equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The perfect place to prepare family meals after a long day exploring the local area. The dining area has a country-style wooden table and chairs, seating four. Proceed into the comfy lounge which hosts a TV and music system. From here you can enter into the large garden. Moving upstairs there are two bedrooms, a double with an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. The second bedroom hosts a twin room. There is also a family shower room with walk in shower and WC.

Stepping outside you will find a lovely private garden area to the rear of the cottage with decking and garden furniture, this is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the peace of the countryside. There is private parking available for two cars.
