Charming Carmel House - Short Walk To 2 Beaches

Welcome to our beautiful 2 bdrm/2 bath home. With 1479 sf, the house can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. Dining table is big enough for 8 people. One king bed in spacious master bedroom upstairs, 1 queen bed in bedroom downstairs, and 1 queen sleeping sofa in living room downstairs. All 3 beds are with memory form mattresses.

Located on Monte Verde st & 15th st, is just 4 blocks from the beach, Clint Eastwood's Mission Ranch is 2 minutes walk away. Shopping and restaurants of 'Carmel by the Sea' are less than 1 mile away. Scenic Drive is close by. Beautiful Point Lobos State Reserve is about 3 miles. This is a perfect location for family getaway or reunion.

Newly renovated, from stylish hardwood floor, kitchen cabinets, kitchen appliances, to all furniture are brand new. 2 TVs are provided, with streaming (NEFLIX, etc)and Internet access. The kitchen is fully equipped. 3 cars can park in front of the house.

We love Carmel and our home, and wish you the same. Wish our house can make you feel home away from home.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming Carmel house. The home is clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect and quiet, yet close to town and the beach. We had a great time walking around everywhere. Enjoyed cocktails in the evening at Mission Ranch, which is located right around the corner. Communication with Cathy the property manager was easy and she was extremely responsive. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.

everything was perfect from the location to the description. The owner was easy to work with, and the home met all of our needs. We were there for our wedding and the stress free environment just made our stay that much more prefect.

Very nice home.

Outside of the stair railing being a bit sticky and the upstairs bathroom door not closing all the way, this house was perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed and a 15 min walk to the beach. Nicely appointed house. Would definitely stay again.

I had a lovely stay! Everything in the house was so clean, beds were very comfortable and it was the perfect place to rest at the end of the day. I loved all the flowers in the yard. The beach behind the house was so beautiful to watch the sunset and no crowds. The beach chairs under the stairs were such a nice touch!

Clean but needs some updating

The property was clean but is in major need of updating. The wall paint is chipped and scrapped. The front and backyards are neglected, which is a shame because the backyard would be a lovely place to hang out. There is a dirty hot tub in the back which should be removed. The location is good.

Charming Carmel House

Charming is an overly optimistic term for this rental.We have been to Carmel 20-25 times. opted for this VRBO. It has a nice kitchen but the rest is tired, old and much is needed in repairs. the living room and bedrooms are sterile. located directly across from an elementary school but walking the neighborhood and to the beaches is great. about a mile into town and Ocean Ave. Frankly have stayed in better hotels in Carmel for a lot less. would not reserve this property again.

Friends Weekend

Upon arrival you will find the home in a great neighborhood. The home is close enough to Carmel to walk to town. Sadly the exterior of the home is lacking. The front yard is not maintained. The backyard is unwelcoming and downright scary in one sense (strange structure on the property, out of service hot tub, overgrown landscaping, no furniture). The interior is great. Upstairs bedroom is wonderful with a comfortable bed. The shower water temperature is inconsistent as previously mentioned. The downstairs bedroom is good, our friends thought the mattress was just ok. The kitchen and living areas were great. If you are looking for decent lodgings, this will work. So long as you ignore the property exterior. (A little yard care and clean up would do wonders).
