A beautiful spacious house with incredible year-round panoramic views of the Potomac River. You'll enjoy the convenience of a a short path from the front porch to the river and towpath. From there you can hike less than a mile along the CNO canal to the Harpers Ferry footbridge where cafés and pubs await you. One block to Guide House Grill restaurant and River &Trail Outfitters for tubing and rafting. Or walk across the bridge to Harpers Ferry Adventure Center for rafting, tubing, zip lines and micro brewery

We had such a good time staying here. The house was spacious, super clean and well taken care of, but what really makes this house stand out is that on every level there are stunning views of the river. It's within easy drive of Frederick, Shepherdstown and Harpers Ferry. We hiked to HF with no problem, and hung out at the Harpers Ferry Brewery in the evening (which is 5 minutes down the road). On top of all that the host, Mike, is incredibly responsive. Whether it was a quesiton about the house or recommendations of where to eat in the area, he responded almost immediately. This place is an example of what a great VRBO experience should be like. We will deifintely be back.

The house has a spectacular view, was clean, and has everything we needed. Great layout with balcony and bathrooms on every floor. Our host always responded immediately and was very friendly. Property was awesome, exactly as how it’s described. Kitchen is fully stacked such that I was able to make desserts for my daughter’s wedding. Had groceries delivered and made breakfast instead of going out. Multiple bathrooms made it easier to get everyone ready at the same time. Michael was VERY responsive and helpful with all my questions. He suggested places to go, etc. but unfortunately we did not have the time. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Michael!

The property is beautiful. A great view of the river, multiple porches, and lots of space. A perfect get away with lots of fun things to do close by. Also great just to hang out. Everyone this weekend liked the local ... liked the house ... and enjoyed that we were minutes away from a wedding we were attending and going into Harper's Ferry just a short distance away.

When we are not enjoying city life in our Nation's Capitol, we relax at our mountain retreat an hour away in Boonsboro, MD.
