This is a lovely 2 bedroom waterfront cottage right on Wakondah Pond with a beautiful view of pristine Red Hill. Also included is use of the sandy community beach which is private to residents of Wakondah pond, perfect for a dip to cool off and a one-minute walk from the cottage. Nice open concept living room, dining and kitchen. Enjoy your days fishing for bass and your evenings on the private screened in porch or large deck, both overlooking the water. Enjoy the wildlife amongt the lilly pad and pond growth in mid-summer. See the Pond, loons and much more in the 2 kayaks with paddles which are provided. Listen to the calling of the loons and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. No motor boats. Pets are allowed with approval. Some of the nice amenitites are the cable TV, WiFi, and gas grill. No dock. Please do no use the fireplace or washer/dryer. As a side note, the view from the cabin is particularly lovely in the fall as you look out at Red Hill which has an abundance of maple trees that turn spectacularly red in foliage season and is where the name "Red Hill" comes from! Very pretty...

About the host
Hosted by Property Manager/Owner

We rented for a week each year on Winnipesaukee (the big lake). It was beautiful but lots of noise and commotion from water activities such as skiers, seadoos, etc. Plus, it got to be VERY expensive. So, one year our funds were low and we opted for this cabin on a quiet pond (no motors). A RE agent knocked on the door and the rest is history. We bought it! Welcome to our CABIN!
Why they chose this property
It's quiet; and beautiful. No motor boats. There are loons and a wonderful view of Red Hill. A nature lover's paradise. There ARE lilly pads, frogs, great herons and so much more that appear mid-summer and are viewed from the cabin. It's away from it all.
