Confortable Studio Condo in Exclusive zone - Hear The Sound Of Splashing Waves


The Studio is located on a hill but within walking distance of La Ropa beach (about 1.7 km). For older people, it will be easy to walk downhill but maybe difficult to walk up. To make it comfortable for yourself you can get a taxi or a minivan that provides services in the area. The minivan, called Combi, is cheaper than a taxi but usually takes longer. ZIHUATANEJO is about 4km from the studio. There are plenty of taxis or Combi to go to any place in ZIHUATANEJO or to IXTAPA. We can also recommend a trusted taxi driver we know, he speaks very good English. You should be aware taxis are more expensive than a Combi.

Because the studio is located higher you have a better view of Zihuatanejo bay and the town from the swimming pool and part of the studio balcony. Several pubs, bars and restaurants are available in the surrounding area. It’s a perfect location to explore and relax. If you need more information about this then you can talk to our friend Andres, the taxi driver, and he will gladly tell you where you can go and eat in the area. His taxi fare is the same every taxi driver will charge you but can ask Andres about Zihuatanejo and he will be happy to help you.

This studio condo is located in a very low density building of 5 condos. The area of the building is exclusive, secluded and safe for tourists. The building has a 24/7 security service on the premises and has security cameras.

The studio condo features one bedroom with a queen bed and a full-size bathroom. Fully equipped kitchenette with refrigerator, Wi-Fi Internet access, flat-screen TV with Netflix. The studio condo is air-conditioned, and initially soap, bathroom tissue and three 5 gal bottled water is provided for the first time but you will need to buy additional water after you used your bottled water and you can order it through us. Weekly housekeeping service is available once a week. Washer and dryer are free and included for bookings of more than 2 weeks.

Please see the studio pictures to get a feel for what is provided. What you see is what you get. You get a clean and comfortable place for two people. If you want a bigger rental place with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms then I can get you one but at a much higher price. Please let me know.

On the premises is an infinity swimming pool with portable chairs for your convenience. Watch the sunset show and enjoy a relaxing day with a nice Piña Colada or Margarita or anything you like but you make it yourself.

For a nominal fee, the property manager will arrange your daily and catering needs if you request it and just about anything reasonable you ask.

Zihua Retreat

Studio is on a hill, walk to La Ropa beach and back is a challenge for those of us in a “slightly older”age.Great views from pool, limited view from room, from small deck. Weekly cleaning was excellent, on site staff, very friendly and helpful. The recommended taxi service (Andres R. Jacintos) is very helpful and friendly. Nice studio. Comfy bed. Be prepared to take taxi’s back up hill. We thought we could handle the hill, but just to much in the heat of the day. Had to check out early due to construction noise behind and beside condo complex.

Vista Bay studio

Studio apt was clean and had everything we needed. A few items need attention - towels/sheets need update, repair holes in screens. Pool has no sun so very cool, and distance to beach is further, and hill much steeper than described. Andres is wonderful for transport and Jose is great, thanks to Google translate!

Grossly overpriced and remote.

Listed as "exclusive", but should read "remote", this studio apartment has only partial visibility from an inadequately small balcony to the beach, 20 minutes walk away. This you reach down a very steep road, with inadequate sidewalks and a very challenging uphill return. Not 10 minutes as listed but at least 20 mins tough climb. The presenting photo of lined-up boats is a misrepresentation of this location. The photo is from the fisherman's warf in town, a 10 minute cab ride away. The bed is a double bed, new and comfortable but too short for my 6-foot husband. Air conditioning worked very well and was essential for part of the day. The kitchen is well supplied with good utensils and a full stove and full size fridge. These are essential as there are only two restaurants within walking distance, and both are expensive. There is a lovely infinity pool and lounging chairs in the shade that overlook the stunning bay. Ideal for people who want quiet, are very fit to hike the steep hill or who like solitude or have work to do in this remote location. Not ideal for anyone wanting to participate in Zihua life, unless you plan to rely on taxis up and down to the playa and town. We had spent 2 weeks in La Ropa prior to coming to this studio where we paid $500 less per week for a more spacious and attractive studio, close to the playa, than this hill-top crowded studio. It is grossly over-priced given it's size and location.

Lots of info not provided and towels and sheets are old.

The unit was ok for what I needed with a kitchen to cook and make coffee. The owner did not advise on website that the unit is up a step hill and nothing around for night time dining. The walk to La Ropa beach is more then 1/2 mile it is down a step curvy hill with no side walks and quite the walk up the curvy hill. The units balcony does face the beach and town but 1/3 you can see this the other 2/3 you are looking at a wall. The towels and bed sheets have seen better days. time for new ones.Owner tells he has a cab driver that you can contact he was great so negotiate with him $80.00 peso into town or it can be as much as $160.00 onw way. Found out after 9 days that there is a bus that comes by every 20 mins and $15 peso to the beach (owner does not tell you this) bus runs Mon-Friday. The caretaker Jose was wonderful and looked after me well. I am not happy with this unit (building) owner should be more upfront about these things. I spend over $3000.00 peso just on cabs until I found our I could take a bus for 15-30 peso per day. I would not rent this unit again. Ed please advise your customers more on these things don't just take our money be a better owner. More info upfront would have been great to know.

Zihuatanejo

The primary property was ok neat and tidy limited kitchen utensils and you have to turn the propane on from outside the building we eventually found out.Screen needs repair as the mosquitoes enjoyed lunching on me at night dont forget your repellent,the bed was a comfortable queen.,Bring your own coffee before you come its a hour walk to the grocery store La sorina.The view was great from the beautiful pool area,limited from the balcony,where you can watch the bats early morning and evening enter ther hiding spot left of the balcony,I found this fascinating. Left a box of cereal on the kitchen shelf and it was taken over by tiny tiny ants bring raid.The walk to Laropa beach is short and down hill the return is a massive work out, healthy seniors or fit will survive. cab rides are very over priced by the suggested driver he will negotiate and he speaks very good English.Bus rides to and from La ropa beach to Centro the local market are 13 pesos. Laundry is very handy and a added bonus.Pool however beautiful it is does not receive sun and is very cold 75.6 most days.There is a nice little restaurant a 5 minute walk up the hill close but pricey and the credit card wifi is sketchy bring lots of pesos.Directions from airport could use alot of improving approx 70.dollars to property from airport unless to walk about 4 mins to the left of the airport exit then other cabs are30. to 50.dollars ,Id pay the 70.if the driver had a sign with my name and knew where to take us.No Netfl

A Little Gem

We loved this little studio condo, it had everything we needed in a very compact form. Everything is so new and well-kept, and its extremely clean. It's about a 10 minute walk to Playa La Ropa, very convenient. It's so quiet in this building and so secure, it was so relaxing. It has a little deck with a great view of La Ropa on one side, the other side you are looking at the building but it really didn't matter. There is an absolutely beautiful infinity pool to cool off in, which has gorgeous views of the bay. Ed was amazing to deal with, all he was concerned about was our comfort and that we had everything we needed. We would and will return in a heartbeat!

Building and grounds are meticulously maintained. Everything is clean and comfortable. Walked to the beach every other day and there are great local restaurants right on the beach. It was a pleasure to stay here, looking forward to our return trip!

Staff are friendly and Rosie is a wonderful welcoming committee. Very helpful with info on Zihuatanejo and even gave us some coffee to get us started on our first morning. Very nice, clean well looked after place and for the price you can’t go wrong. The infinity pool is a god send especially after the hike up the hill in heat!
