Casa Mana: Beautiful beach front home in quiet area of Zihuatanejo, MX. 5 mins from the airport, 15 mins from downtown.

Sleeps 6 with 3 beds (1 king, 1 queen, 1 full), fully furnished kitchen, outdoor BBQ, Bar and Table for 8. Small local markets within a 1/2 mile, full grocery stores and Sams club downtown. Local Soriana's grocery store delives and restaurant next door will provide food delivery to the house from 9:30 to 6:30.

This home was perfect for what we needed, and the daily rate was very reasonable. The home could use a few upgrades (i.e. better lighting), but overall it was great. Wifi worked well, and the communication with property reps was terrific. The restaurant next door was very handy. I would definitely consider this place for a future visit to the area, and I would also recommend it to others.

Almost paradise but ...

The house itself is very nice; the photos depict it as it is. Beds were comfortable, weekly cleaning was provided and the local manager was excellent--very responsive to questions.The little pool was very nice for cooling off at the end of the day. But the beach, while beautiful, had crashing surf. Not swim-able, especially for kids. Also, this location is noisy, between the road traffic and airplane takeoffs. Finally, this property is very isolated. It's not a neighborhood. There's one little store about two blocks away, and one excellent restaurant right next door, but otherwise not much. Luckily a combi passes by about every 15 minutes for easy transport to airport and Zihua Centro.

Why they chose this property

We immediately feel in love with this secluded area of Zihuatanejo. It feels like our little private beach in paradise. It is still close enough to downtown and other touristy beaches if you really want to be around crowds. But at least you know when you head back home, you will have your tranquility. This town is full of the friendlist people and reminded us of what Puerto Vallarta use to be like before tourism took over everything.

What makes this property unique

I love sitting up in bed in the morning, looking out the sliding glass door and seeing the beach! That about sums it up.
