Shared garden with barbecue. Close to restaurants, bars, shops, bus stops and supermarket. The apartment is within 5 minutes walk to the beach 'trou aux biches'. Trou Aux Biches beach is one of the most beautiful on the island and it was awarded the World's Leading Beach 2011. It has golden white sand with turquoise sea. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying all year round. Trou Aux biches beach has plenty to offer from water sports, scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing or just relaxing on the sun loungers and watch the beautiful ocean while enjoying the tropical climate. It has ample restaurant and bars to enjoy the local and international cuisine. Bus stop is within 5 minutes walk. Grand baie for shopping is within 30 minutes by bus and the capital is within 45 minutes. Big game fisihing and scuba diving could be arrange also.

My wife and teen-aged daughter enjoyed a week's stay in one of the apartments above Ameer's family, all of whom were so kind and welcoming to us. We were invited to park our car inside the gates on the drive. We found it a comfortable, quiet and safe place to stay. It really is an easy stroll to the beach (we weren't sure from the Google map), local restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket and a car rental. The accommodation was just perfect for us: well equipped, functional and not fussy.

Der Aufenthalt bei Ameer und seiner Familie war wirklich ausergewöhnlich. Ameer war sehr hilfsbereit und wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Lage des Appartements war wunderbar. Sehr ruhig und kurze Wege zu Strand, Bus und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt undcwürden immer wiederkommen undkurze Wege zu Strand

Top Unterkunft in super Lage

Sehr großes geräumiges Apartment, Ausstattung etwas veraltet aber alles da was man braucht, inklusive Moskitonetzen über den Betten, Klimaanlage, geräumige Dusche und gut ausgestattete Küche. Super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis! Das Haus ist sehr ruhig in einem großen Garten gelegen und nur 5 Gehminuten vom schönen Public Beach Troux au Biches entfernt. Supermarkt und mehrere Restaurants um die Ecke. Die Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft der Gastfamilie ist wirklich aussergewöhnlich und Maria's Kochkünste können auch wir nur bestätigen! Mein Mann wurde sogar als Vegetarier extra bekocht und wir hatten einen tollen Abend mit der Familie. Vielen Dank an Hamza und Maria für die schöne Zeit!

Nous avons passé 2 semaines chez Ameer. Nous étions 4 personnes. L appartement est très spacieux. la literie est super. la photo correspond bien à la réalité. Les palmiers abritent beaucoup de petits oiseaux très colorés..et qui viennent voler les morceaux de mangue sur la table..aha..ils ont bien raison. Accès plage très proche.. petits restaurants très proches... super...

Great place to explore Trou-aux-Biches

My wife and I stayed here as a base to explore Mauritius. Ameer's place was perfect. Ameer and his family are very welcoming and helpful. They even fed us some delicious fish curry one night. It is easy to walk to the beach from the house. There are a couple very good restaurants within a 5-minute walk as well. The area of Mauritius is very nice with some beaches comparable to anywhere else on the island. I would recommend.

Wonderful stay, wonderful hosts

I just returned from a week's stay in Mauritius at Ameer (aka Hamza) and Maria's apartment. I have rented many vacation apartments in many places and I have to say that this was one of the best experiences I've ever had. The location was perfect, the apartment was spacious and clean and affordable, but the best part was Ameer and Maria. They were the most hospitable landlords I've ever encountered, offering us wonderful curry meals and kindness. I will never forget sitting on the veranda looking out at the palm trees. Thanks so much to you both, if I am ever fortunate enough to go back to Mauritius I will be sure to book your place again happily!

Perfekter Urlaub

Wir waren 14 Tage i in dieser sehr schönen Ferienwohnung.Die Wohnung und seine Ausstattung sind sehr gut. Die Villa ist umgeben von viel Grün und befindet sich in einer ruhigen Gegend (5 Minuten vom Strand entfernt, die Geschäfte "Restaurants und Busbahnhof) sind ganz in der Nähe. Die Besitzer Maria und Hamza, die vor Ort wohnen, haben uns sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit und standen uns während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts zur Verfügung. Sie haben uns mehrmals zu einem hervorragendem Abendessen, welches Maria zubereitet hat, eingeladen. Es ist ein idealer Ort für einen angenehmen und erholsamen Urlaub. Haben selten so nette Vermieter und vor allem so tolle Kinder kennengelernt. Können uns nur den vorherigen Bewertungen anschließen!

Im Urlaub zu Hause

Das Fazit zuerst: Absolut empfehlenswert, zu 100% weiter zu empfehlen! Zum Haus: Das Haus und der Garten sind wunderschön, sehr gepflegt und gut erhalten. Der Garten ist sehr grün und absolut schön mit den großen Palmen. Das Appartment ist sehr geräumig. Das Badezimmer, die Küche und auch das Wohnzimmer sind riesig. Alles ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Es fehlt an nichts. Es gibt ein Moskito-Netz zum schlafen, Herd, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine sowie alles an weiterem Küchenzubehör. Ebenso ein sehr großer Kühlschrank mit Eisfach. Das Highlight: Der große Balkon mit wunderschönem Blick in den Garten. Wir haben jeden Morgen und Abend auf dem Balkon gesessen und die Zeit genossen, absolut großartig! Morgens kann man sogar die Vögel während des Frühstücks beobachten. Zur Lage: Keine 5 Gehminuten zum wunderschönen Strand von Trou aux Biches. Super Schnorchel Möglichkeiten. Wir hatten sogar das Glück eine Schildkröte zu sehen. Eine Bar sowie Restaurants sind ebenfalls nach 2-5 Gehminuten zu erreichen. Den Supermarkt von Trou aux Biches erreicht man nach 7-10 Gehminuten. Das Beste: Der Supermarkt hat einen Bringservice, der einem die Einkäufe nach Hause bringt, absolut Klasse, gerade wenn man kein Auto hat!! Auch die Busanbindungen sind super, wir sind nach Grand Baie, Pampelmousse, Port Louis und zum Cap Mallereux ohne Probleme mit dem Bus gefahren. Zum Vermieter und seiner Familie: Absolut liebenswerte und nette Menschen. Hamza, Maria und die beiden Kids sind absolut weltoffen, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Wenn man möchte, bekommt man den vollen Familienanschluss. Wir sind mit Maria Schnorcheln gewesen (dabei haben wir die Schildkröte gesehen), haben mit Hamza Kokosnüsse im Garten geerntet und eine Kokosnussparty gemacht, sind Mittags zusammen bei dem "Einheimischen-Imbiss" essen gewesen, und und und. Und wenn man einfach nur "wohnen ohne Kontakt" möchte, ist auch das möglich (allerdings nicht zu empfehlen ;-) ) An einem Abend hat Maria sogar für uns gekocht und wir hatten ein gemeinsames Abendessen. Alles in allem also nichts negatives, was es zu erwähnen gäbe. Alles stimmt. Obendrein ist der Preis noch absolut günstig und bietet ein wirkliches top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ich hoffe, dass wir nicht das letzte Mal in der Villa Lumiere Urlaub gemacht haben

Perfekter Aufenthalt bei toller Familie

Erster Aufenthalt und glücklicher Weise gleich bei Ameer, den alle Hamza nennen, untergekommen. Alles wie beschrieben, sehr schöner Garten, ruhig und sauber. Küche komplett eingerichtet und Balkon zum Wohlfühlen. Der Ort und Strand sind mit die Schönsten auf der Insel (und wir haben mit Mietwagen und über 1500 gefahrenen km in 6 Wochen wirklich alles gesehen). Das Wichtigste: Hamza, Maria und die Kids sind herzlich und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns den Urlaub gerettet, nachdem wir nach 2 Wochen Aufenthalt bei Hamza, bei einem anderen Vermieter in Flic en Flac reingefallen sind. Er hat keinen Moment gezögert, unsere Rückkehr zu organisieren. Im Übrigen hat er das beste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis von allen Objekten, die wir in der Zeit gesehen/bewohnt haben. Wer seine Ruhe will, kann sie haben, wer Familienanschluss bevorzugt, wird herzlich aufgenommen. Wir sind oft beisammen gesessen, haben gemeinsam Sightseeing gemacht, gekocht. Hamza kennt alles und jeden, wenn immer wir etwas benötigten oder machen wollten: Hamza hatte den richtigen Tipp. Vom Ort aus lässt sich die Nordseite der Insel perfekt erkunden, auch wenn man kein Auto hat. Klar, dass Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie auch Kneipen fußläufig zu erreichen sind. Er hat zahlreiche internationale Gäste wie Franzosen, Deutsche, Schweizer, Österreicher, die seit Jahren immer wieder kommen. Wirklich das Beste, was wir auf der Insel hatten, absolut empfehlenswert und bestimmt bald kein Geheimtipp mehr.

Perfect place to stay. A very nice and easy going family with 2 lovely kids. They cooked for us one evening and helped us out in any case. Especially when i had to go to the hospital because of an injure, they were so helpful. Thank you again for everything!

Idéal pour des vacances au calme

Nous avons séjournés 15 jours à la VILLA LUMIERE, l'appartement et ses équipements étaient conformes à l'annonce. la villa est entourée de verdure et située dans un quartier calme (à 5mn de la plage, des commerces’ des restaurants et station de bus). Les propriétaires Hamza et Maria qui résident sur place, nous ont très bien accueillis à notre arrivée. Ils ont été très serviables et disponibles en toute discrétion durant tout notre séjour. Ils nous ont fait déguster un excellent plat mauricien préparé par Maria. C’est un endroit idéal pour passer des vacances agréables et reposantes.
