This is my family's cabin in South Lake Tahoe. We host family and friends in our cabin and when the cabin is vacant, we selectively rent it to other families who want to get away and enjoy all the beautiful beaches, great views and outdoor activities that Lake Tahoe has to offer. The cabin is very spacious with a great layout for large groups and only minutes away from the best ski resorts in Tahoe.

We hold vacation rental permit #1876.

New Years vacation

Very good host great location. The house had some heating and cleanliness issues which I’m sure we’re just due to a busy time of year.

Good house but disappointed

Very disappointed with our stay in Tahoe. The house is large, and has four rooms which was ideal for us. However, it needs major updates and a DEEP CLEAN! We were charged $295 for the cleaning; however, the house had spider webs all over, including right outside the shower where you would think it gets cleaned every time a guest leaves. Also found dead spiders smashed on the bedroom walls. To make matters worse, the bathtub has dry MUD inside of it. Who cleans this place? The downstairs heater would not work, and for two nights the guests who stayed downstairs slept in freezing temperatures. We also used the BBQ which ran out of gas within 1 hour of use making us have to go out of our way to purchase another one. The carpets also need deep cleaning. My brother who has asthma had a difficult time, thank God he brought his inhaler. Overall, the house is large and has so much potential. But it needs major updates and a serious cleaning plus new carpets, it was very unhealthy.

Ski Trip

Great area and the home served our needs. The fish eye lens the house photos were taken with Mis-represented the house size and condition. (Much smaller than it looks) Many things were broken in the home: couch was broken, pool sticks were warped and/or without tips, bar frig in game room was broken….the list goes on. I think our expectations were higher than the house delivered due to these factors.

Why they chose this property

Our cabin is located in a family neighborhood, which makes it a perfect get away cabin for family gatherings. We are also only 10 min away from the casinos, restaurants, and shops in downtown. If staying during winter time, Heavenly Valley is only 10 min drive from the cabin.
