About this property
Just 2 miles from Sonoma's Plaza and 2 blocks from the Fairmont
This cute little 350SFT unit sits in back of my other listing, Sonoma Shanghai-la, and is the perfect setting for a couple. Please inquire if you want to add a guest. Whomever your travel partner, you must be comfortable with each other as there is only a curtain that serves as the bathroom wall. It has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, teas, coffee, and an upstairs loft with a futon bed, and a large TV screen. But please note there is a metal ladder you need to climb to get up in the loft and you cannot stand in it. It's great for sleeping or lounging to watch tv. If you need to get up several times a night to visit the bathroom then you will not want to sleep up there. Definitely more suitable for the young and agile! lol
This is an extension of my main home, which can be rented together or separately. It is perfect to rent in conjunction with my main home for larger groups. This is a more modern unit, with a country feel inside. It has a lovely outdoor area for afternoon or evening gatherings. If my main home is rented there will be other vacationers on the premises. Most often my guests don't seem to run into each other, but also fast friends have been made around the fire pit when guests meet.
My place is located just 2.5 miles from Sonoma's Historic Town Square; an easy 15 minute bike ride or Uber will get you there. There are also local restaurants walking distance from my place. The Fairmont is just 2 blocks away, a great place to walk to have a cocktail and enjoy the grounds, or people watch in their beautiful lobby. I’m a super host on another rental site, and have many excellent reviews but for some reason this site doesn’t seem to have the same emphasis on reviews..

I'm a fun loving, free-spirited person. After my two children left home I decided to make my home available for full time vacation rentals. I love meeting the many unique, fun and creative people I have hosted. I recently returned from travels to Vietnam and Cambodia all through vacation rentals; I am grateful to be a part of a community who love the idea of staying in someone’s home vs a hotel. I enjoy cooking (and do regular pop-up dinners in Sonoma, serving crepes, and some favorite vietnamese dishes, BanhMi and Pho), socialize with friends, listen to music, and dancing! I am an entrepreneur, owning several businesses in the food industry. Before I started my first business -over 25 years ago- I researched opening a Bed and Breakfast, so hosting travelers is like fulfilling the 4th business I never started! I look forward to meeting you~
Why they chose this property
When I bought my home in 2006 I was drawn to the old neighborhood of the Springs/Aqua Caliente area and it's rich history. I raised my two children here and love that it is in a quiet neighborhood, away from the touristy hustle of the main town square...Don't get me wrong, I love tourist and the town square, but it's nice to live away from the crowds, where I can hear the birds chirping, view the bright full moons and star gaze, and bonus; the liveliness of the town center is just minutes away! I have a great outdoor area with BBQ's, a Fire Pit, and a nice area to relax and eat outside...I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do!
