Comfortable, good-sized, well-maintained property, right on the edge of the Yorkshire Peak District. Kitchen Diner is large and well equipped, and there were plenty of logs for the log burner, and great view from the living room.

The property was warm, clean and comfortable, tastefully decorated, with plenty of space for the six of us. The kitchen was very well-equipped, and ample crockery, cutlery and glassware was provided. Our hostess, Angela, was very helpful in the run-up to our holiday, answering queries (the Fox House pub/restaurant was a good recommendation) and providing clear directions to find the property. Angela welcomed us when we arrived, and it was good to know that she and Malcolm were just next door if we had any issues or needed advice, though they were never intrusive. We enjoyed the quiet location and lovely views, and it was a good base for exploring the beautiful northern Peak District and southwest Yorkshire.

Perfect location and very well equipped the host was very friendly and toys to play with also. I would definitely recommend it for a family weekend away . Maybe the step up to the garden was quite high. Could have been dangerous that was the only concern

An exceptionally well appointed and clean property which we highly recommend. We had a long family weekend with a small dog to celebrate my husbands 80th birthday. To top it all the weather was glorious all weekend and a celebration meal at the Fox House nearby was also First Class.
