Fantastic family friendly cabin
Loved staying here with my kids (4 & 6) and our friends and their kids (under 1, 5 & 7)! Great spaces, very comfortable, well appointed kitchen and amenities for kids (pack and play, toys, pool table)! There is a closed door bedroom in the loft in addition to the two twin beds. That bedroom can get a little cold even with the wood stove on so just come with warm clothes! Rooms in lower level are very comfortable and with more floor space than I had thought. Nice neighbors as well! About 40 minutes drive (no snow or ice on roads) to Bear Valley so it was very manageable to get there in the morning for ski lessons. Very responsive and welcoming host!

Thanksgiving trip to Sierra Nevada
We made a two-day trip to the Sierra Nevada mountains during the Thanksgiving holidays. We were two families, us and our longtime friends that have spent many fun-filled vacations together over several years. The stay was good, we spent time a fair amount of time indoors given the relatively short period of sunlight. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well-stocked with supplies, games and good connectivity. Playing pool, watching Netflix and cooking meals were the highlight of the time spent at the cabin. For the most part, everything worked well, as noted in the description. The one sore point was during the check-in - the entrance was almost inaccessible due to the pileup of snow at the front door, that had not been cleared. Arriving late evening after a busy day and a long drive, we found ourselves having to shovel snow for about 20 mins to clear the path to the front door. Not something we were expecting to do on arrival. Sincerely suggest hiring a company to clear snow during winters. Besides that, everything else was great, as noted.

Wonderful Getaway!
Our family went for a visit to Big Trees to celebrate my kiddos birthday with our family-the cabin was perfect. Comfortable, well laid out, and spacious for all 7 of us (with extra room to spare!). My kids loved the pool table, which they had never before played- and I think that was the big hit of the weekend! We enjoyed BBQing one night on the deck, which was fun. There were tons of games, dvds, toys, etc which was so nice to have access to with our young kids. Victoria, the host, was very responsive and friendly. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We can’t wait to be back-my boys are already asking about visiting “the red house”.

Wonderful Experience!
We had a fabulous time here. The cabin is in a great location. It feels like you are secluded away from everything but it's only a quick 10 minute drive into town for dining, shopping or market. The cabin itself is well stocked with anything and everything you could need. There were tons of board games, puzzles, books, Wii, TV's, pool table. The home was very clean and communication was very easy. We will definitely come back again.
