Great location, great price

This cozy place was a quick 3 minute drive to the beach or to city center. The owner was quick to take care of any question we had. It was nice to have a washer/dryer when you stay a month. Secure yard for pets. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Great location, great neighborhood, and good size house.

Overall we loved our stay. Any issue that came up the host responses quickly about sorting them out. We stayed with our dogs and with the cooler weather we loved being able to leave the doors open so the dogs could go in and out as they pleased. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of sheets available. Loved having a washer and dryer .

My stay here in Carlsbad in this lovely neighborhood was absolutely beautiful, relaxing and peaceful☮️. Benjamin, the owner was such a pleasure to communicate with and quick to respond to any of my questions or concerns. The place was mostly like the pictures except the yard was dirt without the ground cover in pictures. Unfortunately, this was an issue with all the rain we had this winter. But, certainly in the best of conditions, not much one could do to prepare for that amount of rain. Overall my stay was great but the place could use a little TLC (cabinet liners, a rug or mat by doors and in family room because dirt tracks in easily…would also consider turf or maybe some type of low maintenance ground cover to lessen dirt and water runoff) Thank you and blessings for a very hospitable stay🙏☮️🐾

We spent a great 5 weeks in Carlsbad. The house is in a fabulous part of the town and you can walk / bike to the beach and shops. The property was wonderful for our dog with a large fenced in yard. The house was comfortable and Benjamin responded immediately to any questions.

Perfect house for my family of 5 and huskies!

Great neighborhood and location. Beach, shops, and dog park are all nearby. Will definitely come back again.

Pretty good, overall, for the price, our budget and what we needed.

Overall, a good experience. House looked better in the pictures. Located in a neighborhood and we liked that. Corner is pretty busy, even though it is residential. With that said, there is more than enough room in the fenced in areas if you have littles, so you won't have to worry about that. We did not feel like noise was an issue at all. FYI, no microwave, so plan accordingly. Otherwise, kitchen was good for our needs. Bathroom was big, but use the fan for ventilation. Bedrooms were fine. Beds were only so/so...IKEA type. For us, we didn't feel like it was easily walkable to the village. We just drove down instead. Depends on what you find "walkable." We LOVED the Carlsbad beaches. Thought they were the best surfing beaches for a family in the area. Would highly suggest So Cal Surf Lessons (Rusty, Billy & Jason). We are newbie surfers and they were absolutely wonderful. We liked the size of the house. Felt that we could spread out a bit. We ate outside on porch everyday. Also, the washer/dryer option was great! You don't have to overpack. If you can't afford a place directly on the beach, but still want to be close enough, this is a nice option. Owner was excellent at responding and so was the management company. Really good customer service. One note it that we liked the lock on the front door, but we did not like the lock on the sliding glass door. I would suggest finding another option/charlie bar, etc.

Location, location, location!

We stayed here for just over two weeks with our dog as transitional housing following an overseas move. It was just what we needed-- a quiet and safe refuge while we recovered from jet lag, looked for housing, and got re-established. The yard was perfect for our anxious dog (though we learned he hates walking on wood chips!) The location was perfect, with the 5, Carlsbad Village, awesome beaches, stores, and more closeby! I am deducting a star because this place needs a few minor improvements (better stocked kitchen equipment-- like a cutting board; a door sweep to keep the lizards out, etc), then it will be a truly stellar rental. Highly recommend.
