As you enter, you'll be greeted by stunning water views, soaring vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows that bring in the view and lovely ocean breezes. A cozy fireplace adds warmth and ambiance to the living area, while ceiling fans keep you cool and comfortable during those warm summer days. The sun room is a perfect place to curl up with a book, take a nap or enjoy watching the paddle borders, jet skiers and water skiers on the lagoon. Located on the top floor of the building, this unit overlooks a sparkling pool, hot tub, and little beach. Professionally decorated in California nautical/beach-style, the master bedroom has a queen bed with a water view and a second bedroom with twin trundle beds. With two assigned and gated parking spaces, you'll never have to worry about finding a spot for your vehicles. Built in office desk with computer and printer, high speed wi-fi, full stocked kitchen, all linens, towels and beach equipment. There is a newer washer and dryer and stainless steel Kitchen Aid appliances including a 2 door refrigerator, electric flat top stove, oven and microwave. You'll also be close to shopping, dining, and entertainment with easy access to I-5. Very comfortable home for entertaining & relaxing. All together, you will have everything you need to enjoy a fabulous time in sunny San Diego!

Lagoon paradise

Kathy and her mom Linda were so welcoming to us and it was so appreciated. The view is spectacular!!!! The condo was equipped with everything you would need. We had two parking spaces in the underground parking garage. My only negative was that the BBQ that was advertised was broken. We absolutely will come back next year. Linda and Dennis

Temporary Housing

I stayed at Kathy and Linda's condo while I waited for my new house to be ready for me to move in. They both were extremely communicative throughout the booking, check-in, and check-out process. They even replaced a Keurig machine the same day as when I reported it broken. Great customer service and both such nice people! The description of the property and photos don't do it justice! The views of the lagoon are beautiful and sunsets are spectacular! Plus with it being located on the top floor, it is very quiet and peaceful. It was a perfect respite for me before the hectic time that comes with a new move. If I have a need for temporary housing again, I would certainly book this condo again. :-)

Beautiful, relaxing retreat!

My spouse and I stayed here for several months while our own home was being remodeled. We couldn't have found a better-equipped, more spacious and peaceful accommodation than this gorgeous waterside condo. The owners were delightful to work with, made us feel welcome, and responded promptly to any issues. And the spectacular view was the icing on the cake! We enjoyed watching ducks, herons, jumping fish, paddle boarders, kayakers and even seals from our comfortable chairs. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

One nice place!

My wife and I just spent our second winter at this lovely Condo, and we just hate to leave at the end of March. Great place, very quiet, private gated parking and just the loveliest sunsets on earth. The owner and her daughter are the best people period, treat us like royalty. Winters are now my favorite season thanks to Cove Drive!

Waterfront retreat

We recently stayed here for the month do December. The condo was comfortable, well equipped and immaculately clean. But, the best feature, by far, was to wake up in the morning and see the sun sparkling on the water of the Lagoon. The ducks would be busy looking for their AM meal, the paddle boarders would be swooshing by, and I. Would sit with my book and coffee, preferring the spot I had,

FANTASTIC VACATION

This is the second year we've stayed in this Condo. It is great. The water views are just magnificent. And it is really convenient to water sports, walking, and biking. The owner is so nice. The condo is lovely. We'll be back for a longer stay next year.

We had an excellent time and really enjoyed our stay. We were at the condo for a week and every day was sunny. The condo is very comfortable, equipped with everything you need, plenty of room – so much better than a hotel room. We made use of the hot tub, walked around the area and felt totally at home. The views from the condo were terrific, and we took some great shots of the sun setting at night. We would definitely stay there again. Everything was exactly the same as the pictures – beautiful! Thanks for the hospitality.

I stayed here with my husband and two children. We all loved it! The condo is beautiful and spacious with incredible views. It was also very quiet. So much better than a hotel with all of the hallway commotion. When this place was built they did a great job of soundproofing. It's in a nice neighborhood. We felt very safe there. We all liked Carlsbad and the local beach. Carlsbad has an upscale vibe. We found the condo to be convenient to all that we did while we were there. It really is All That! I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, or to recommend it.

This is more than just a ...

This is more than just a rental condo, it is an obviously much loved family holiday home too. This is apparent in the attention to detail, decor and overall quality of the place, and the pictures on the website do not do it justice. It is in a quiet area, but only minutes away from the I-5 and Carlsbad/Oceanside.

The condo could not have been more inviting. It was wonderful to walk into the spectacular view and cool breezes. My four-year old twin boys were also thrilled with the "toy closet" -- they played with everything and never even asked for their own toys (that we were silly enough to bring with us). We stayed for a week at this beautiful condo in early June. My son had fun playing with games, going out in the paddle boat, and just exploring the cove. While we went out and did many things (Legoland, Sea World, etc.) it was great to come back in the evening to relax and enjoy the view. I was impressed at how clean and organized everything was--nothing was forgotten. We will absolutely consider renting again in the future. Thanks!

Wow, your condo absolutel...

Wow, your condo absolutely MADE our vacation!!!! We completely surprised my two nephews (4and 7yrs) with a trip to Legoland, and though we all were terribly tired after a long adventure to get to California, walking into your beautiful condo kicked the trip off with a great start! The boys LOVED the fact you had "tons of toys!!", and the whole place was set up to be so inviting, comfortable, and relaxing, we all just fell in love with it!! My only complaint was that we had to leave early to get back for some medical appts my father had. To anyone thinking about renting here . . . do it! The owner has thought of everything to make your stay amazing, down to the very last detail! When we venture down this way again, I will definately be wanting to stay here again!!! Thank you for making such a perfect sanctuary from the push of daily life available to us. From the first cup of coffee slipping into the glow of a rising sun on the water, to the evening wind-down, it's been wonderful. Just the right blend of sound sleep, relaxation with good friends, and a venue of all of the action and adventure when you want it. Your place was fantastic!...

Your place was fantastic! Thanks for the use of your condo for our vacation. It was so great, with our three young daughters (2,4,6 years old) to have the toys and kid room. The clothes washer & dryer, and broadband (DSL) internet access made this so convenient, not to mention having a beach within just a few steps. We hit Legoland (only 5 minutes away), SeaWorld (about 30 min away), Wild Animal Park (about 30 min away), and the San Diego Zoo (about 30 min - all times depending on traffic). Such a great location and a great place! Should we come back to San Diego again, we'll be checking to see if we can rent your place again.

This condo is centrally located with easy access to anywhere in So. Cal.,be it the beaches, San Diego, Tijuana, Wine country and LA. We did all! The condo itself is beautiful, with great views and more amentities than home! I give this owner and her property and hospitality the best recommendation I can give. Great value as well. Carlsbad Village has great dining options as well. We enjoyed the Vera Cruz Fish House, Koko's and Al' Cafe. Thanks again!

Linda's place is absolute...

Linda's place is absolutely beautiful~!!! She has EVERYTHING one could need, and the sunset views are sometimes more spectacular than here in Hawaii!!! Linda is a gem of a lady, and I loved the six weeks I stayed at her place!
