Had a Blast, awesome place to get away

Location was perfect, accommodations were perfect, right in the middle of everything in the Folly Beach area, just a Great Place kick back and enjoy some time away with family!

Folly Beach Getaway

We had a great time ! Everything you could need is at the house other then the food shopping (which is all nearby) The Beach is very close too and the locals for food are very good as well !!

Great location, Beautiful condo, 2 blocks from the beach

Nicely appointed condo only 2 blocks from beach access and walking distance to restaurants on Folly. Kids enjoyed the mini pool when we didn’t want to drag back to the beach. We enjoyed a warm welcome box by host and knew we could call if we needed anything. Check in and out was super easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Beautiful property

Great property, convenient to everything! We were there for a wedding and this property couldn’t have been more perfect. Good parking, which can be a challenge on Folly. Some night noise because of it’s very centrally located location, but nothing that kept us up. They literally thought of everything you might need when away from home. Highly recommend!

Girls trip

The property was very clean and updated. The pool wasn't as warm as we wanted, I made a phone call and within 30 minutes it was turned up. We enjoyed the pool very much. The beach house is in a perfect location. Lots of stairs so be sure not to book if you need wheelchair assistance. Would definitely stay here again

Great place location!

The place was very clean. The air was not so good. We had to have maintenance come on arrival and next day. The place was well furnished. Was hoping for some compensation for our hot nights but haven’t heard back. Other than that a great place!!!!

Small Town meets the Beach

House was l as shown in pictures. Spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed spending lots of time poolside. A quick trip across the street for coffee and just a short walk to many restaurants and the town store (more then just a store!) Not a “nightlife” town so peaceful to spend evenings and mornings poolside. Due to being across from businesses, early deliveries do occur. Great property!!! Would stay again!

Folly Family time

Amazing time in Folly. Location was great with the stroller. Beach and restaurants within walking distance. Property manager was very responsive. Great Folly Easter! Clean VRBO with small pool. Temp inside is always kept at 70-no adjusting indoor temp. Some noise due to location but manageable. Will book again! Thank you!

Beautiful Home and Awesome Location

This place has definitely been renovated well. As a Charleston native I personally know that these houses have been here forever. The decor and furnishings are top rate. The beds were very comfortable although we did have a small issue with the sheets that the owner addressed. Also it's just a short walk from the beach with a warm spotless pool and nice patio. That is where we spent most of our time relaxing. My only suggestions to the operators would be to increase the temp on the water heater as the water in the shower was only slightly warm and consider having a spice cabinet with at least some salt and pepper. Otherwise you will not be disappointed with this rental.

Very enjoyable, but a few suggestions

Age groupings: two oldest are 80, 73, 72, 69, and 1 in late 50s. Walk-in showers were nice, but one would not shower because of no bars on the side for balance. That would be very useful for those with some balance problems. No remotes for TVs to change volume in a couple of the bedrooms...worked fine in the living room. We weren't there for TV anyway, so that was okay, but again, would have been a little better for remote TV volume control in the bedrooms at night. Paint ready to peel off at once spot between the dining room and the family room...probably related to the venting going through the ceiling in under it. Two roaches found the last day/ but the property seemed clean. Several lights out on the outside step risers, but the porch lights worked, so not a real problem.

Excellent house for 6-8 people

Great location. But be aware of loud garbage/recycling pick up on Sat mornings at 4 am. Some noise from adjacent restaurants. A minor phone white noise app use on street side bedrooms will fix that short term issue for light sleepers. Two of three nights were very quiet. Pool lights are on timer and we thought they left lights off. Do wish there was a hand rail or grip at pool. Watch for scalding in shower water. Long waits for hot water in shower. I did NOT like pool maintenance visit on Wed and Sat at unspecified time bothered me. I rented a place where dog could be left in lovely yard while we went into Charleston. We took dog with us all day due to possible problem with maintenance crew visiting pool on Sat afternoon. This pool service should be advertised for clearly. WiFi was perfect. Lovely house. Seemed to have everything needed in kitchen. Bathrooms needed anti slip shower or tub mats and grab bar in showers/tub. 2-3 retaurants nearby. 1 24 hour Burt’s market is across street for milk, coffee, full deli for sandwiches, packs of sandwich meat. Better than 7-11. Very nice place to stay. Extremely clean. Would return.

Do not believe this property ranks as luxury at all. We had many issues, but the most disappointing was we booked this place because of the heated pool, and it was not working when we arrived. The pool people we able to fix it the afternoon before we left, so we missed two days of the pool which was the very reason we booked this place. The place has the potential to be a very cute place but it definitely needs some deep cleaning and someone to check before tenants arrive to make sure things are working. I thought when you rented from VRBO you were corresponding with a family who owned the property not an organization. This was not the case.

Great Family Vacation!

It was a great family vacation! We had my 9 month old, both sets of grandparents and both sets of aunt/uncles and we were all able to fit comfortably, spend time together and do our own thing when we wanted. The entrance to the beach closest to the house is closed M-F so there was one extra block to walk but not bad and that will be done when they complete the construction of the pier. Having the pool was perfect for getting in some more swim time after naps without dragging everything back to the beach. Would highly recomend and we are considering renting more than one of the houses offered next summer so even more family can join!

Great family vacation

We had a lovely stay at Slightly off center. The house was decorated exactly as shown in the photos and was in a great location where you could walk everywhere. The walking path to the ocean was across the street and you could be to the ocean by the pier in 2 short blocks. The pool and patio area was phenomenal and a great place to cool off after exercising or relax after a beach day.

The property is perfect in every way. Stunning and perfect location for the beach and shops.

When I walked it my jaw dropped. It’s exactly as the photos show. And the gift bag with the note was such a sweet touch. The location of the house is in the center of all the shops and restaurants. 1 minute walk to the beach, well no complaints here. Oh let’s not forget about our own personal pool! Only problem I had was I ran out of toilet paper in the down stairs bathroom and that wasn’t good lol had to get up and run to the up stairs bathroom. Next trip I’ll be renting the same place!!!

The perfect getaway house!

The house was an amazing house! Loved that all the essentials were supplied!! The pool was the perfect size to take a dip and get refreshed! Very convenient to everything. We parked our car while there. Overall, the house was wonderful, my only suggestion would be to have tv’s in the bedrooms!! We would highly recommend this house and would stay here again!!!
