Welcome to The Prickly Pear, a beautifully renovated five-bedroom, four-bathroom Folly Beach home accommodating up to 12 guests. Enjoy a private inground pool and seasonal heated spa surrounded by tranquil landscaping and trees, along with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for the whole family.

The home blends modern design and sun-filled interiors with Folly Beach's relaxed atmosphere. Hardwood floors, stainless-steel appliances, Smart TVs, and comfortable living and entertainment areas make it easy to gather and unwind throughout your stay.
Located in a quiet section of the island, The Prickly Pear is only a short and picturesque two-block walk along a small path to the 3rd Street beach access, which offers public restrooms and outdoor showers. Center Street's restaurants, shops, and nightlife are just over two blocks away.
The living room and sunroom both include Smart TVs and ceiling fans, providing additional space for guests to relax and spread out. The fully equipped kitchen and outdoor propane grill make meals at home convenient, while the private outdoor shower is ideal after a day at the beach.
With two king suites upstairs, a queen bedroom downstairs, and bunk rooms on both levels, the layout works especially well for families and groups traveling together. Two stackable washer-and-dryer sets—one upstairs and one downstairs—provide added convenience for larger groups.

POOL NOTICE
The pool can be heated upon request between October through the end of April for an additional fee of $70 per day, which will be added to your reservation after booking.
If pool heat is not requested at the time of booking, this option must be requested and paid for at least two days in advance. Pool heat can only be requested for the entire length or remainder of your stay. To add this option, select it when making your reservation or contact our office during business hours.
The spa is heated from October through the end of April as well.
Please note that the pool does not get higher than 80°F during the colder months from mid-December through February or mid-March. The pool temperature will be affected by the weather, and freezing weather may keep the pool from reaching even 80°F.
We cannot guarantee a specific temperature for any day of your stay. No refunds will be given if weather conditions prevent pool use. The pool heater thermostat will be set between 82°F and 84°F.

NOTES
Contactless Check-In: This home is equipped with a keyless-entry system. Your door code will be provided before arrival.
Parking: Parking is available for up to five vehicles, depending on vehicle size.
Beach Equipment: Beach equipment and beach towels are not provided. However, guests may use anything available at the property.
Downtown Charleston is approximately 12 miles from the property.
Charleston International Airport is approximately 22 miles from the property.

You must be at least 25 years old to rent this property.
Smoking is not permitted inside or anywhere outside the home.

PETS
Pets considered: Our office must approve all pets before arrival. Upon approval, a $150 per-pet nonrefundable pet fee is due before arrival. If the pet is not already included on your reservation, the fee will be added.
Once the pet has been approved and the fee has been paid, you will be all set to bring your pet.
A maximum of two pets is permitted. Each pet must weigh no more than 60 pounds. Puppies under one year old and cats are not permitted.
Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Titles II and III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees before arrival.

HOUSE POLICIES
The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with many full-time residents. Guests must respect the surrounding community, observe the listed maximum occupancy, and keep noise to a minimum at all times.
House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, and similar gatherings are strictly prohibited.
The Folly Beach noise ordinance is in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Your rental agreement states that use of the property may not disturb or offend surrounding residents.
To help protect our guests, neighbors, property owners, and the Folly Beach community, this home uses NoiseAware noise-monitoring technology. NoiseAware measures decibel levels only. It is privacy compliant and does not listen to or record conversations.
If noise exceeds the permitted level, guests may receive a courtesy text requesting that the volume be reduced before a violation occurs. This helps prevent police violations, fines, and possible revocation of the homeowner's business license.
The property's maximum occupancy of 12 guests may not be exceeded at any time during the stay.
If occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property, we reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement and require that all guests vacate the property immediately without a refund.

PAYMENT POLICY
A payment of 50% is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% balance is due 60 days before the check-in date and will be charged to the card on file.
Reservations made within 60 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
