Welcome to Folly Me! This fantastic Folly Beach home has everything. There are ocean views in front and marsh water views in the back. The beach access is straight ahead in front of the house, visible from the front porch. Folly Me is also only 4 blocks from Center Street, the downtown Folly Beach area, so great restaurants are just a short walk away.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, classic Folly cottage is well maintained and includes upgraded furniture, bedding, upgraded light fixtures,...high-end everything! Completely remodeled, the kitchen has new countertops, new appliances, and all of the bells and whistles the family chef will appreciate. Take a dip in the private pool and enjoy the view of the marsh or soothe your aches and pains in the hot tub.(*Pool or Spa heat are additional charge-Pool Heat will only heat the water to 20 degrees above the air temperature- see below). Enjoy the low country breezes on one of the three porches, or gather the family around in the sunroom after a long day on the beach.

Located on one of the highest spots on Folly Beach, you can enjoy ocean views from your front porch. The master bedroom and second bedroom also feature a peek of the ocean, while the third bedroom has a private balcony overlooking the marsh and creek in the back of the property.

Master bedroom has king size bed, flat-screen TV, and private bath. Second bedroom has a queen size bed. The third bedroom is perfect for the kids with 2 sets of twin bunk beds, and 1 trundle pull out. There is a flat-screen TV in the living room with various seating to provide entertainment for the unusual rainy day. House also includes free WIFI.

Walk to center street to enjoy local restaurants and beach shops. The Folly Beach Wave Watch Playground located on the street, right next to the home, is perfect for the kids! Just a short, 20-minute drive will have you to historical, downtown Charleston, SC to enjoy all of the charm that the Holy City has to offer. Folly Me will be a repeat trip for your family year after year!

Home is non-smoking. Home is pet-friendly for up to 2 dogs with paid fee of $125 + tax per pet. No events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home, regardless of sleeping or visiting. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. No pool use after sunset. Spa can be heated for additional fee from 10:00am-10:00pm only. Surveillance devices are present on the property for security purposes. These devices are not actively recording the property at all times. Security cameras over front steps and under house area only. Property is handled through a property management and has 24-hr on-call maintenance services. *If guest would like spa/hot tub heated, there is an additional charge. Spa can only be heated from 10:00am-10:00pm local time. Please inquire for more details.

**HOUSE SUPPLIES**
This property is managed by a property management group. We provide a complimentary starter amenity kit to get you settled. Guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed during their stay.
Two rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, 1 dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels in the kitchen. Each bathroom will have 2 toilet paper rolls and at least 1 bar of soap. Full bathrooms additionally include kits with travel size products: 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 lotion bottle, and 2 makeup wipes.

This is a fabulous house! We stayed here for New Years. Carolina One was wonderful to work with, and they even went out of the way to get the hot tub working for our stay. We have stayed in many rentals in the area, and this has been our favorite. Beach access is steps away. You can watch the sunrise from the front porch. If you have kids, the Wavewatch playground is also literally a few steps away. Our nine year old enjoyed it so much. House is well stocked and set up to feel very roomy. Our family of five was very comfortable. House is decorated adorably. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen and dining space is set up for plenty of room for socializing and eating. Lots of extra features like a ping pong table downstairs near the pool. I would highly recommend this house and rental company, and we hope to stay here again!

We had a great stay at Folly Me. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The property manager responded quickly to a minor issue we had. The host had several very thoughtful touches such as flip flops, books for the beach, and games for rainy days. The location was perfect - very short walk to the beach and close proximity to the bars, restaurants, and souvenir shops. The pool and hot tub were nice, but if going in late Fall (we were there last week of Sept.) I’d suggest heating the pool over the hot tub.

Great House

Great house in a very walkable location, perfect for our family! Being right near a playground was such a bonus with kids. The pool house was clean, comfortable, and well set up for a relaxing stay. Heating the pool or hot tub did add a bit to the cost more than we usually see, but overall it was a great experience and we’d definitely stay again

Well deserved getaway!

The house was amazing but the pool overlooking the marshland was the highlight! We had a few questions and were immediately helped! The walk to the beach was less than 2 minutes. Sluggish we had some trouble with the cable TV on the last day and the Wi-Fi was sluggish as well… but to note - a hotspot might be a good idea! Would recommend to anyone we know! BRAVO!

I cannot articulate how well we were treated. The home is amazing. The staff is excellent and attentive. Everything you “forgot to bring” is in the home. Excellent location and home. Folly Beach is filled with amazing people visiting, and the locals are even better. There were no issues because the staff was thorough and it is very clear that Carolina Vacation Rentals is proud to offer the absolute best service and experience. I hate to leave, but will be back.

Great short trip

The short trip was wonderful, although there was a fire ant concern near the hot tub. Additionally, I hadn't anticipated a delivery fee for beach equipment, so it might be helpful to clarify that with future renters. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience at the place was fantastic!

Great spot for the family to stay on Folly Beach! Block off the beach. Close to all the restaurants/bars. Beautiful home with hot tub and pool. If headed to Folly definitely recommend staying here. Already looking forward to going back.

Can’t beat the proximity to beach access. Great outdoor space that overlooks the marsh. Really nice to have pool/hot tub for kids when they needed a break from the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. The queen room could use blackout curtains and a sound machine. Our friends had a hard time sleeping due to light and noise from I think A.C. unit. King room was great in that regard. The pool lights did not come on at 8:00 p.m as promised which made night swimming difficult for the kids. Otherwise we enjoyed the space and location very much.

Comfort and style

Folly Me is an ideal location to the beach and town. Walk to restaurants, shopping, bars. Golf cart friendly. The house has every amenity that we needed for a family of adults. Kitchen is spacious and loaded with cooking accessories. Front porch is simply lovely. Pool was cool, even with heat, but a great outside space. Only complaint was the porch off the second bedroom... broken chairs, dirty porch, and door wouldnt open. Wonderful stay!

We had 4 adults and 4 kids and the house worked just fine for our stay. It has a fabulous location - 1 block from beach with no homes in front and with no homes behind it you have a perfect relaxing view off the back porch or deck as well. Very unique on the island. The house is very well equipped for a rental with everything we needed. We rented a golf cart which was perfect for getting around the island. Our only issue was that we tried to have the pool heated but there was a part missing that the property managers weren’t able to have fixed during our stay. It made for some chilly pool days but otherwise no issues at all.

Fantastic property and location.

The house is absolutely wonderful and our stay was fantastic. Quiet location at the end of the street with the marsh in the back of the property makes it feel very private. Just a short walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the restaurants on Center St. was very convenient. The time of year was perfect as well with many mornings practically having the beach to ourselves. The property manager was also super to deal with. They were very prompt in answering questions and made sure our stay was great. We're definitely planning on returning again.

Excellent location and stunning pool

Our family of 6 (4 adults, 2 kids) had a great time during our stay at Folly Me. The house was very conveniently located to the beach, had ample parking, was spacious, and the pool was priceless. The decor was very updated, as well as kitchen appliances. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook and enjoy dinner at home! There was even a cabinet full of games to play as a family. The queen bedroom was large enough to accommodate a pack and play for our infant to sleep in. All of the TVs were “smart” and preloaded with apps such as Netflix, prime video, etc (had to use our own logins). I think they also had cable hooked up in the living room. We were equipped with plenty of bath and beach/pool towels which was really appreciated. Laundry room conveniently located in the hallway was perfect for ensuring we had fresh towels every day. The house came with a small amount of essentials to get started such as dish soap, dishwasher detergent packs, and shampoo/conditioner. Make sure to bring laundry detergent from home as well as coffee. Keurig machine as well as traditional coffee pot worked great for our group. All in all, loved our time here and would absolutely come back and stay again!

It's all about the pool and location!

First time to Folly Beach. The island isn't very big, but the house was in prime location, steps to a non crowded part of the beach and short drive (golf cart) to the center of town. House is well maintained with beautiful pool and hot tub. Extra to heat hot tube and a few days heat was off, but management was willing to refund fee. We would definitely rent again here.

Great escape!

The house we spotless, exactly as shown and had everything you could need. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, the pool was perfect and the house is half a block walk to the beach. For parents with younger children, the playground right next to the house is ideal. My kids loved the pool and the hot tub and we had lots of places to relax together, and independently. WiFi speed for rainy days was spot on and the grill outside was clean and very well maintained. The management company was very responsive to a small issue we had (we couldn’t find the switch to turn on the jets in the hot tub) and instructions for check in and checkout were very clear, One comment, the outside shower was not enclosed and did not have hot water. We were expecting a more traditional outdoor shower based on the house’s description. I would rate our stay 10/10, we will absolutely be back.

Perfect location!

We loved our stay at Folly Me. Well stocked with everything we needed - from kitchen to towels for the pool, even beach chairs we could use. The pool was beautiful and well worth the $ to heat it. The 5 min walk to the beach made it easy if we forgot something. A quiet street with a kids dream playground at the park right outside the front door. We loved it!

Given the location this house has a straight shot to the ocean and a view from the front porch (more like 2nd row than 3rd row.) House was clean and well equipped. Note there is an extra charge to heat the hot tub - so read the fine print.

Great but...

Location was fantastic. The property needs some TLC - pots and pans old, outside needs attention, doesn’t look like it has been maintained for several years. They wanted $300 to heat hot tub - why call it a hot tub then? We came in at night and couldn’t see number on house - rental company had lights on for us but we thought Someone was in the house, need lights on house number . Rug in main living area felt damp, hard to tell if it had ever been cleaned. Pool was dirty.
