We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. It is the cutest little house ever. Location was great- house was very clean and everything we needed. Bed was also very comfy. I would highly recommend Bergies Bunkhouse!!!

Great little house! Very clean, kitchen well equipped and bedding was comfortable. Close proximity to anything you may need. There is the train whistle overnight, didnt bother me but if your a light sleeper some white noise or earplugs will do the trick. Highly recommend!

Perfect, private get away for two. My husband and I took a trip to Montana for our 20th anniversary. This little place had everything we needed and was a perfect location to access Glacier National Park. We loved the private little backyard with grill and flower bed. We stopped at the local grocery store (smiths, that’s a Kroger brand and had normal prices) and grilled in the back yard. Loved exploring the little town and brewery and the park is of course amazing. The washer and drier were appreciated. All around we couldn’t have asked for more. Great stay, highly recommend!

Cute little bunkhouse

This was a cutely decorated bunkhouse. Quiet location only heard a few trains and airplanes. Within walking distance of grocery stores and restaurants. Just outside of West Glacier. I would definitely recommend this to a couple for a great getaway.

Perfect Location

This cozy little bungalow was the perfect place to stay while visiting Glacier National Park. It was within walking distance of several great restaurants and a nice grocery store after trekking in the park all day. The owners were great and we had all the comfort (amazing bed!) and quiet that we needed for a relaxing vacation.

Little Columbia Falls House

Host thought about many details, throw blankets, coffee, extra towels, body wash, shampoo…when I asked about WiFi not working in bedroom the host offered her personal WiFi access which was very much appreciated. Very clean. You can hear the train every hour just a heads up.

We loved this house for our extended weekend visiting Glacier! Great little town and close to a lot of amenities, restaurants, etc. It's got everything you might need inside.

Fabulous bunkhouse with all the amenities you could ask for. Close enough to Glacier NP to be able to arrive early at the park.

Glacier park visit

Everything was excellent except for we couldn’t access WiFi and that was disappointing. We loved the location and the bed and bedding was superb, very clean. Only reason we didn’t 5 star the Bernie Bungalow was the lack of WiFi.

Awesome stay for our Glacier experience

Perfect base for our Glacier adventures. Nice to come back to a clean, cozy place to relax and unwind. Had everything we needed and really appreciated the great shower and comfortable, and spacious, bed! Walking distance to a great saloon/restaurant as well as a grocery store for all our needs. Will book again on our next trip to Glacier.

Great location to explore Glacier

We had a great experience staying at the bunkhouse for a long weekend visit to Glacier. Only 20 minutes from door to park entrance and within easy walking distance to the grocery store and restaurants. The place was fully equipped for a comfortable stay and check in was very easy. Could use a new shower curtain and a few cobwebs cleared out but Overall very clean and we'd stay again!

Cozy Bungalow

This was a cute, clean and well appointed bungalow. It sits at the rear of the owner’s property with a privacy fence so no lack of privacy. It’s nicely decorated and had everything we could need for our stay. We could walk to stores and restaurants in town so that was very convenient. Only about a 25-30 min drive to Glacier National Park.

Wonderful first experience in Montana

We loved the cozy cabin and it was perfect to get to Glacier and surrounding towns we wanted to visit. It was also so convenient to the grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shop. We did hear the train noise at night but it was not really a bother. We laughed about it the next morning!

Perfect week in Columbia Falls and Glacier

Adorable bunk house! Absolutely loved it. So comfy,perfect for my son and I after long days at Glacier. Loved the bed, loved the seating area in the kitchen to eat meals and play games with my son. Great decorating, loved reading the book about Charlie Russell! Would definitely stay again if we plan another trip to Glacier. Loved Ghostland coffee a short drive away and 2 very close grocery stores, plus the 15-20 minute drive to GNP was awesome!

Awesome Glacier Adventure

This is a sweet comfortable accommodation. Very thoughtfully equipped with cookware sharp knives, resealable plastic bowls, coffee and filters, washer/dryer and detergent.....! The towels and linens are nicer than a Hampton. Sarah was helpful and knowledgeable. Book it you will like it!

We LOVED this adorable place. Very clean & well stocked. Loved the outdoor court yard area! Very convenient to restaurants & Glacier NP. Not a complaint at all…just an FYI if you don’t like a soft bed (we like firm due to our backs) there is a topper that you could take off & put back on the bed. We didn’t figure this out until the last night. This was one of our favorite VRBO’s we’ve ever rented!

Loved this place! Had everything we needed. Layout of bungalo maximized the space very well. Bed was very comfortable. Great location in Columbia Falls, close to West Glacier. Will definitely recommend to others, and would stay here again!

HI! My name is Sarah and I will be your onsite host while you stay at Little House Under the Big Sky. I moved to Columbia Falls after graduating from college in 2005 and have made it my home ever since. I am the director of the local community college's campus recreation program and co-owner of a local catering company. Through my professional contacts and personal love for the outdoors I have developed great relationships with local outfitters. I have had the opportunity to enjoy all the summer activities that Whitefish Mountain Resort offers and I am also an avid skier. In the summers I love to whitewater raft, float the rivers, kayak and fish. I am steeped in the recreational opportunities of Flathead Valley (Glacier National Park, Columbia Falls, Whitefish, Bigfork, Kalispell) and eager to share with you summer and winter activities. I will point you in the right direction to the most popular tourist attractions as well as the more off beat destinations you won't want to miss. I can recommend great outfitters for all the recreational opportunities the area has to offer. I live close to the Little House and vouch for how convenient it's location is to the mountain and to Glacier.
